The stay here was marvelous! The pool was awesome and we played lots of games like Pictionary with Mimi, Mimi is awesome! I 100% recommend staying here and enjoying the pool activities! I had so much fun at the pool today. They even brought a fun game of miniature golf that could win you a free drink at the bar.

What a great stay! We were down in Key West and it started to get dark so we decided to look for hotels in the key area but there weren't that many since it was so last minute.We ended up finding Skipjack which is only about 1 hour away from Key West so not too far.
The service was amazing from start to finish! I called in to get an reservation and the front desk attendee was so nice to us and didn't mind staying up there until 11pm which was around the time we would be arriving.
The hotel room is so spacious and cute! It reminded me of an apartment as they have a full living room, kitchen, bath

The whole resort is amazing. We have been āisland hoppingā and stopped here for a night. The hospitality is unlike any place Iāve ever been! They are renovating the exterior but the rooms are up to date , very modern & clean!! They welcome you upon check-in with beverage tickets, give you free breakfast and a ton of amenities. Complimentary bikes, games, ping pong, kayaks - you name it they offer it or will find a way to make it happen! Debbie, the manager is top notch on her game, making sure everyone is having a good time. The bar guys, Ward & Luke are exceptional with service and hospitality

If you are looking for a hidden gem I highly recommend Skipjack Resort. The staff is amazing, like a little family giving recommendations for things to make our visit to the keys a memorable one. The pool bar serves really good food. The rooms were clean and can't wait to return to see how all the renovations turn out.

We had a GREAT stay here for a few nights of our honeymoon. Nicest ROOM we had in the Keys (nicer than our room a few nights later at Casa Marina)
The construction is what it is, no big deal.
The pool bar was AWESOME. Bartenders know how to pour a drink.
Great location down the road from Sombrero beach. Awesome time.

The rooms were decent, and clean however for the price you would expect 5 stars. There were minor things that can be done to make the experience much better. Such as completing the construction to make the outward appearance. Our room ceiling had a cracks throughout and the back patio floor is evident that work is being done. Also the company(s) in charge of construction or remodeling the rooms needs to ensure that the walls have a smooth finish instead I can see evidence of a whole that was in the room wall.
