The Grassy Flats Resort & Beach Club is located on a private beachfront in Grassy Key, Florida. Our private resort accommodation offers excellent amenities such a free parking, private garden areas, and stunning Veranda views. We are not your average sustainable resort in the tropics - we have adventures, activities and relaxing experiences just moments away from our property.
Olde Florida and the Conch Republic share a storied history ripe with controversy and folklore. From the earliest inhabitants of local Indians and the Spanish settlers who discovered them to the last century's boom of industrialists, smugglers, and tourism vendors the stories are as interesting as the characters who lived them.
Here at Grassy Flats Resort & Beach Club we are attempting a resort business model that has, until now, never been accomplished in the Florida Keys. Bottom lines and revenue are a high priority in the standard business model, but unfortunately those goals most often do not align with the best interests of the environment.

Our family had such a great time at this quiet little beach resort! The rooms were spacious, the staff was wonderful, and it was just so laidback and relaxing. We couldn’t have asked for more out of our vacation. (My boys also adored the cats!) We were sad to leave, but we can’t wait to go back.

Don't think just book!
We LOVED our stay at Grassy Flats! It's quaint and on the water. It has water sports, a nice pool and a great tiki bar. Everyone there from the guests to the sweet people working there were so fun, welcoming and sweet. It was a really cool community feel! The owner even came down and had drinks with us and cooked up some freshly caught fish for the guests. Super cool
We stayed for 4 nights in summer for about $425 a night. Our room included 2 bedrooms so it was about $200 a room which is a great rate! It also has a full kitchen which was so convenient and saved

If your looking to kiteboard, look no further! Best place to kiteboard in the keys bar none. The entire kite crew was amazing to work with from start to finish. My instructor Luke had me actually flying a kite and riding a board at the same time by the end of the day (a multitasking marvel my wife took quick notice of and will assume can happen with anything I put my hands to in all future endeavors...thanks Luke;)
The resort itself is nothing short of amazing! The owner has gone to great lengths to make the experience extraordinary! The managers make you a priority and the drinks are strong.

Great location, great property, great staff. They could not have been more accommodating and kind. It’s always wonderful coming to a place that treats you like a friend. They helped my (now) fiancé plan for his proposal, and it was so perfect. We will definitely be back. Loved it, loved it, loved it.

Absolutely amazing spot! Such a beautiful property with lush Florida landscaping. An awesome clean pool overlooking Oceanside with an actual sweet beach. All the staff is so accommodating and friendly you feel very at home. The rooms are super clean and airy. Beautiful balconies out of every room open to the sea breeze and all the rooms have a view no matter where you are. The tiki bar is super fun. This place jams. Ten out of ten. Oh and they have the cutest Bahamas rescue kitties that hang at the beach!

What an awesome hotel! It is hidden in grassy key and is amazing! Just opened in May and everything is new and fresh. The staff was friendly and helpful. We originally had a single room and got upgraded to a suite which was a nice surprise! Our room had a full kitchen so you can cook if you want to. They have a cute little tiki bar which is nice because you can grab drinks while hanging by the pool. The bathrooms are stocked with key lime shampoo and conditioner which is super cute to keep with the keys theme. I will be back soon!

I couldn't begin to describe the time I had at the grassy flats. the resort was beautiful. the staff was extremely attentive and friendly and the location was perfect. at night you could see all the stars and being form the big city, its something im not used to. I will definitely be back. 10/10 would recommend.

We spent the weekend at the resort for a celebration for a friend and it was the perfect location. Beautiful views, amazing property, and plenty to do in the area. The staff was very nice and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were great and the AC was a blessing when it got a little too warm out. I'd absolutely recommend staying if you're heading down to the keys for any kind of vacation. We will be coming back!

Perfect getaway from Fort Lauderdale smack in the middle of the keys so not too long of a drive and a nice break on the way to Key West. Hotel concierge was lovely, amenities include an ocean view pool! One of the most comfortable beds I've slept and we were able to cook meals in our kitchen. Best sunrise around! Thanks Grassy Flats for your hospitality, we will be back soon!
