This is definitely NOT a redo. We booked because the pictures looked nice, website stated recent upgrades and there were some good reviews. The pictures must have been taken 20 years ago because the room was dark, poorly lit and dingy. Floors were filthy and sticky. Front of refrigerator and cabinets were dirty and looked like they hadn't been cleaned in months. The bath mat had dirty shoe marks on one side. There was a missing smoke detector with exposed wiring on the ceiling. One TV had no cable connection and the modem was held onto the back of it with blue painters tape! The room had clearly

This resort was the highlight of our stay in the Keys. It has its own beach and it was fun to relax in the sunbeds steps away from the ocean. The modern laundromat is also great. The staff was super nice and kind, especially the lady at the reception who checked us in. The restaurant and cafe in the resort are not so good, but the hotel itself is fabulous.

This resort is very nice! Stayed with my family. We enjoyed the trip so much fun!!! Hotel had great service, right on the beach, and there’s a restaurant right next door very convenient. They also have kayaks and paddle boards for the guest as well!! This hotel has it all let me tell you! Definitely would stay here again!!!!

Glunz Ocean Beach Hotel is a great and special place. The private beach is very peaceful and well maintained, and the staff are excellent. We greatly enjoyed our stay in a suite, which offers direct access to the beach on the first floor of the property. It was nice to be able to just go back to the room, fix a snack and grab a drink, and go back to relaxing hearing the calming waves of the ocean steps away. We will definitely be back.

The hotel sits on a private beach that is actually a joy to swim. Not many hotels in the Keys can boast that. The beach has width, length and depth that make it a good place to enjoy the warm water of the Atlantic Ocean.
Inside, our rooms was equipeed with nice plumbing features and was clean and well-maintained.

We stayed two nights and absolutely loved our time at Glunz! The pool is right by the ocean which created a really lovely atmosphere. This is the best pool we have seen at a hotel! My son LOVED the step to sit on and the small shallow area. Having quick access to the beach was amazing!
The only "negative" was the restaurant wasn't open Monday/Tuesday which is when we stayed. We totally understood based on tourist patterns in the fall! We almost had the resort to ourselves, so we didn't mind. We found a local restaurant which we went to a few times.

This resort is absolutely beautiful. We stayed one night in a hotel room suite and it was gorgeous. The shower was great, the kitchen was very well stocked, and the bed and couch were super comfy. The rest of our week we stayed in a villa and I can't even begin to tell you how absolutely wonderful it was. You have one bedroom on the main floor where there's a huge kitchen, full size dining room table, and living room. The other two bedrooms are on the upper floor. My husband and I had the master which also had a balcony. The views were unbeatable. The bathroom had a separate walk-in shower and
