The property guests know and love as The St. Mary's Inn traces its legal roots back to the 1870's. The two lots that The St. Mary's Inn sit on were legally defined, or mapped, in 1871 in the Territory of Colorado as part of the original platting of the City of Colorado Springs by its founder, General William Jackson Palmer.
The St. Mary's Residence offers newly renovated rooms with luxurious bedding and clean private baths. The Ironwood Suite, located on the second level, is the perfect suite choice for those stays requiring a little extra room. This "Master's Suite" is a two-bedroom suite featuring the original rounded windows, historic trim and beautiful, red-oak hardwood flooring.

My husband and I stayed in the "honeymoon suite" over the summer. The house and grounds are beautiful, and our room was very large, clean, and private. While the suite is the highest point in the house (pack light and be prepared to climb many stairs!), the AC unit kept us comfortably cool. The oversized tub was probably the highlight for us, especially after a couple of long, hot bike rides. The hosts were kind enough to make us gluten-free and dairy-free breakfasts at times in the morning that were convenient for us, since we were the only guests there for much of our stay. We greatly appreciated

Pam & Jay are the best hosts ever!! They are so warm & friendly & helpful!! We so enjoyed our stay here. It’s the best bed & breakfast we have ever stayed in. The honeymoon suite was absolutely gorgeous with jacuzzi tub & cozy fireplace, very comfy bed & bathrobes! Food was so delicious!! I highly recommend it, if you want to treat yourself to a very romantic setting! We will definitely be back!

Wow! What a stay! Pam and Jay were incredible hosts, the Inn was absolutely lovely and the location was perfect. My boyfriend and I stayed here on our Colorado road trip and I don’t have enough good things to say. We weren’t able to get the room that we originally asked for so they suprised us with a darling goodie bag. True hospitality! Will recommend this to everyone we know going to Colorado. Highly recommended. Can’t wait to return and stay in one of the other gorgeous rooms. ❤️

Wonderful 1898 B& B with antique photos, neat rooms and even an antique radiator with casted designs. The breakfast were straight 5 star even in presentation cooked by the host husband while the wife energetically conversed at length with us guests. So much open conversation that the couple is now friends and invited to stay in our home. The neighberhood is the tops... mere blocks to downtown and in renovated 3 story mansions from the turn of century along with wide avenues and delightful Colorado College within blocks. Walk the river trail for miles just blocks away. Sorry I didn't take pics of
