Well I went back the next day to get a refund after talking to the very unprofessional "manager" on the phone. I showed up and he gave me nothing but attitude. Like it was MY fault that they gave me terrible service. I didn't get an apology or anything. (Not that I was expecting one but that's not how you run a business). He refunded the money to my card and even after the way they treated me I still said "Thank you". He didn't say anything to me, just turned his back on me and continued sitting on his phone.

It was a pretty good place. Although the lady that did my nails was very harsh... I felt her nails digging through my skin which was very uncomfortable. She didn't place the UV light to stand right so it was leaning onto my foot, so it was burning my foot. Everything was high priced for no reason... She just painted my nails, cut them down and massaged for a less than 6 minutes. I didn't get my foot scrubbed, or anything. It was in the water for less than 10 minutes. I feel like if you are paying $60 you should at least not have dead skin on the bottom of your feet..

To Managment : instead of investing on paying yelp to remove negative comments , please invest in customer service class and train your family/employees. I had THE worst experience at this place after a long day I had a Male technician working on my nails after 10 min he pulls my hand and says "this is ridiculous, seat straight and close it takes me 15 min to remove a gel and it took me 30 min because you are not sitting correctly!!". Really this is your job !

My wife and I went here today for pedicures and nail take off. While in the chair being serviced a roach crawled out of the chair. The technician killed it. Two more came from in the cracks of the chair. My wife politely let the receptionist know and nothing was done. No apologies or any type of accommodations. I will not be going back.

I love this nail salon. The nail techs I've had have all been attentive and did an incredible job with my nails. The first time I went I actually had never gotten my nails done before. The receptionist told me I might want to get dip because it's not as harsh on my nails, however as we proceeded with the appointment the nail tech explained to me that because I have a very curved nail bed, doo is difficult to do because it just lays flat. He still did an incredible job, I got a lot of compliments on my nails. The next time I went I decided to get acrylic because of what the previous nail

Mengmeng, I'm not sure what happened, but our entire dialogue has been removed from my message box. Please contact me regarding scheduling a do-over, since my dip chipped and lifted within a week. I believe the problem was that it was "painted" too close to the nail bed , and perhaps there were too many coats. It felt thick, and you could feel the edge near the cuticle.

I've always dreamed having a business or be sponsored by a business I liked or love slide into my DMs for things to try and review. And low and behold, the owner Mengmeng of Sakura slid into my yelp dms offering a free service. And I thought to myself, this can't be real. It's finally come!! We discussed over yelp messaging and figured out a plan. My birthday was just a week away and I already had 3 appointments made

I have now been to this salon twice and can confirm it's one of my favorites for a number of reasons. One is that they have a SNACK CART with drinks and the other is that the nail techs are impeccable. They are so patient and meticulous from trimming cuticles to painting on each layer of polish. I'm so happy to have found a place that consistently makes my nails look so pristine!

I had a very nice and relaxing experience here. The salon was bright and clean, and going in the middle of the weekday allowed me to be the only client to enjoy some peace and quiet. They have an overwhelming amount of choices for nail color, dipping powder, and gel nails. They also offer a variety of snacks and drinks to enjoy during your visit. I think I might have found my new nail spot! This place is quaint, clean, pretty and nice. Same goes for the bathroom, btw.
I came by after work (found out it was less than 3 miles away - score!) on a gloomy, rainy day. The employees were welcoming and accommodating. They walked me over to look at all the gel colors (I feel like I've never seen so many colors in my life). My favorite color is pink and I typically have a go-to summer pink color, but chose one that caught my eye. It's super bright!! I actually love it haha.

My visit to Sakura was awesome. We all know how hard it is to find a good nail shop with quality techs. Being my first time here, I didn't know what to expect but I was hopeful. The location is great, right off Westheimer and the heart of the Galleria, this place is very accessible. The shop has been reopened for abouy 6 months due to the pandemic but their skills are still sharp! Inside it is very simple and crisp, and I liked that. However the second was a little iffy.
I left here bleeding lol. To simply put it the tech doing my nails was a bit too excited about my manicure. And nipped me good.
Also while on Facebook live (not putting the tech in view)
The tech said something in another language and a good friend of mine who speaks the language translated what was said. Needless to say it wasn't too nice, and I haven't been back since.
My take away is this place is cool, but no live videos, and watch for the "nipage"!!!!

Had a very pleasant experience, made an appointment the same day for Saturday evening for the LCN red-wine pedicure for 2. The salon environment looks and feels pretty luxurious. Its spaced out and spacious, there are about 5 or 6 massage chairs spaced out on one side, and 3 manicure stations on the other. The receptionist brought a cart to offer us soft drinks/coffee/water. (We noticed snacks underneath which she didn't mention but it happened so fast we just took two waters.)
Overall, my nail technician was very thorough throughout the whole process. The lower leg/foot massage was the best

1) I've been doing my nails for years and this is the first time ever that my own nails darkened like this. This is clearly a sanitation issue that caused fungal infection.
2) I appreciate that the manager reached out offer to redo, but unfortunately I don't believe that nail polish takes over 8 hours to dry and managed to stain my blankets after a shower and me going to bed. As I mentioned, I was done at 430 pm, when I posted the first time, it was already 930 at night. I showered, went to bed at 3 am and I still woke up with nail polish stained on my sheets . Also, I did wear breathable

I just moved into the area, and I've had my last nail guy for 14yrs. I'm looking for the same amazing experience that kept me loyal for so long. Lee, did a good job on my fill. I think he just needs to get used to my preferences and he could be more awesome. He was thoughtful., silly and really nice. Mai did my pedicure and she was amazing. To be honest, she's the reason I'm writing this. Phenomenal pedicure. Definitely will go back to see her.

I won't lie I had been hesitant to visit a nail salon ever since covid 19 started but when I got the opportunity to visit Sakura Nail Salon I took the chance. I had since from previous yelp reviews they had taken precautions to keep their customers and employees safe.
When I walked in I was immediately greeted and shown their various collection of nail polishes, from regular to gel and dip powder. They have an extensive selection to choose from, they even have designer nail polishes like Louboutin. I was shown to my seat and I must say I have never experienced a massage chair like this before
