Sanitation, disinfecting, and sterilization are paramount to our process. A dental grade autoclave is used to steam sterilize all metal instruments used in our nail services. The health, safety, and wellbeing of Katy are of top importance to us at J L'Art Organic Salon and Spa. All nail services include nail shaping, cuticle detail, and polish.

Jenny is an award-winning stylist with seventeen years of experience in hair and beauty. She began her career in Seattle, Washington, and worked six years at Regis Hair Salon, earning the President's award. She excels in all things color and cutting, delivering unique looks and experiences for her clients.
Hand-tied weft hair extensions require no tape, glue, or heat for application. These are a collection of pieces that have been pre-cut and sewn by hand to create the smallest weft-size possible. Hand-tied wefts can be used to add fullness and length, all while blending seamlessly to your natural hair and texture.

I came into J L'Art for a simple mani and pedi with just polish--no gels or powder. Unfortunately, I'm disappointed with my nails. My nail tech was really sweet, but I found the actual mani and pedi to be lacking, especially for a salon this reputed and pricey. For starters, the water kept getting cold, even after I asked her to heat it up. I asked for a glitter top coat, and the top coat bubbled and pooled.
The leftover water used for the mani soak was also dumped into the pedicure tank with my feet still
in the tank. I also left with top coat on my cuticles

Absolutely love Jenny and her staff! After going to her the first time for a corrective cut from a horrible cut at another salon, I will NEVER go anywhere else (I did once, and was back at J L'Art 2 weeks later for Jenny to fix it)
My hair is long, THICK, and straight. She cuts it beautifully so that they layers blend perfectly from the cut - NOT from styling to hide transitions (like so many other salons have done). Not to mention the shampoo and wash is heavenly. If I could, I would go there just for the wash and condition every week. It is not the cheapest haircut, but is 1000% worth the cost

I came in on October 10th, and I was expecting much better service from the reviews I've seen on here. I have an undercut and a small section bleached with faded color above it that I wanted recolored with different colors, as well as a haircut. I was given a stylist who was still learning, which I normally don't mind, but my request was obviously above her skill level. Finding a good hairdresser is as stressful as finding a good doctor. Once I found Jenny almost four years ago, I was in love. She is truly a good and caring person. I honestly love Jl’art salon. I have not been anywhere else since i found Jenny. I have long, thick frizzy hair and i was always struggling to keep them manageable. I had my keratin treatment last February and exclusively used the products Jenny suggested. Ever since my hair texture has changed so much, my hair are not really frizzy, they are soft and hydrated and for the first time i feel so good to wear my natural hair without any heat. This is absolutely one of the best salons I have been to ever! From washing my hair with all natural products it has never felt and looked better in my entire life. We wanted to try a new salon as the one I’ve always gone to is far ever since we moved. We were GREATLY disappointed. The technicians work were horrible. I went in for a pedi and manicure, worst I’ve ever had. Toe nails were all cut differently even though I asked for squared. All technicians kept pushing for shellac even though I had already discussed in detail with the manager, Karen, that I wanted regular nail polish. I am absolutely in love with Van and her amazing daughter (the owner of this fabulous place) plus their entire staff!
What makes this place better than others?
1) They are open on Sundays and longer hours.
2) The setup is more open and not so crowded.
3) The decor is classy, clean, and very modern.

By far my worst experience at a salon. I booked a mani, pedi and hair color. They attempted to give me a mani and pedi at the same time. This concept is idiotic. Without being able to look at the fingers head-on, most of my nails were filed and colored unevenly. I kept trying to discuss this with the technician, but since neither of them spoke English I was out of luck. My hair service was a disaster - because it never happened. Literally one stop shop and im so glad to have found them. Love the environment and the salon. Everyone is friendly, professional and attentive. After taking 1 year off from lashes i found them and booked with Princess and I am so glad i did. She did an awesome job on my hybrid lashes and salon has reasonable price for new set and refills. I selected extensions paid for them. when I got there, "they didn't send them" so "Jenny" put in a different set that was the wrong color. DON"T worry she says. yes I did worry. She RUINED my hair putting in the most wrong color ever. I am new to the area and coming from NY, I had a vast array of hair stylists here.
I went to a different place in Houston to get a haircut and they gave me the worst cuts I have ever gotten. I actually went back for them to fix it. But it was still terrible.
Thankfully Jenny was able to perform a miracle. I know it wasn't easy.
I can't wait for my hair to grow back a little more so she can provide more depth to it.

We just moved to Katy, then Covid happened, and I had a baby so I haven't gotten a haircut in a while. I was pleasantly surprised by this place, and I have found my new home salon. When I arrived, I was greeted instantly, given hand sanitizer, temperature checked, a warm towel, bottled water, and was seated in Stephanie's chair. I work in the medical field and I can confidently say that Jenny, her staff, and her salon goes way beyond expectation. She is aware of what's going on around the community and is aware of her clients concerns. She leads by example by not short-handing when it comes to hygiene. Providing a salon experience with out the worries. Even way before before covid19 her salon excelled when it comes to cleanliness.
She educated her staff, she educates her clients, and after hours, after working all day everyday, she gives back to the community by educating them as well.
