My girlfriend and I went in to inquire about an open apartment. The front desk man Mauricio Cifuentes was amazing!! He was able to answer all of our questions and give us excellent feed back. He was very knowledgeable and had great energy while speaking to us. We were so glad to be able to have a smooth conversation with Mauricio and look forward to speaking to him again!

False advertising!
We toured the apartments yesterday and the lady who was in the office tried to help us as best as she could but unfortunately she was there temporarily to help.
We applied for the unit we wanted and today we received a call from the property which basically said we cannot get the unit we were looking for because it would not be available for our move-in time. The gentleman who I spoke to, Mike or Michael (I cannot remember the name) offered other units or the same unit with higher price! If this is not false advertising then what is it? I asked for the manager/supervisor or

The worst apartment ever,
(1) noise, the wall are like papers, you could hear neighbors talk, and it is extremely cold in winter, and terribly hot in summer.
(2) bugs in bedroom and kitchen
(3) water and trash monthly fee about 100 dollars
(4) charged all most all your deposit
(5) if you want to terminate earlier, you need to pay rent util they find someone else, no other options

I was hesitant to move here because of the bad reviews but they recently got new staff in the office that seem to genuinely care about the residents. They listen and address complaints and make sure any maintenance issues I have are completed in a timely manner!! Good prices for the area and my 1 bedroom has a washer and dryer inside

Do not move here. First all, I moved here because pictures looked so nice and the rent was totally affordable. But you have to think about why the rent is so cheap..

This place is infested with cockroaches, both inside and outside. Managers do not care so you are on your own. Basically, you have to declare war against them. I have defeated them.

Finally, the managers usually take all your deposit. If you ask them why, they reply by saying oh it's just extra cleaning.

So if you want to lose all your deposit without a valid reason and fight against cockroaches all year, hey this is for

NEVER STAY IN THIS APARTMENT EVEN IF THEY OFFER YOU A FREE STAY. THE MANAGEMENT IS RUDE AND THE APARTMENTS ARE VERY BAD. THEY DONT FIX ANYTHING WHEN THERE IS ANY ISSUES AND MOST OF THE TIME SOMEONE ELSE WILL PARK IN YOUR PARKING GARAGE. THE UPPER UNITS ARE VERY VERY HOT DURING SUMMER AND WITHOUT AC ITS VERY DIFFICULT FOR YOU TO STAY ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU HAVE KIDS. I SPEND 500$ TO GET AN AC TO LIVE IN UPPER UNIT. THERE WILL ALWAYS BE SOUND FROM LOWER UNITS EVEN AT NIGHT AND YOU CAN HEAR SOMEONE SNORING FROM THE NEARYBY UNIT AT NIGHT. THE TAPS IN THE BATHROOM GET CLOGGED MORE OFTEN AND SOMETIMES THE

Horrible customer service. I called asking for pricing on 2 bedroom from their ads. The answering service response was, "they were rented and another 2 bedrooms are available for $450+" from their current two-bedroom promo advertising prices. I was shocked. The answering service lady was extremely rude. She mentioned, "If I didn't like to price, I need to go somewhere else". Um. I would fire this answering service in a heart beat.

Run and don't look back!

Made an appointment for 330 and when I showed up she tells me that I will have to wait as there are a couple people ahead of us to view a unit; I said ok and politely asked her if she could give me a call while I wait in my car because it was raining out and I did not want to stand outside as the inside of the office is closed due to covid and she tells me and that she cant do that because she has more important stuff to do. Super rude lady at the office and she raised her voice and tried to argue with me when I told her to respect my time. If you make an appointment for 330 I expect to view the

I had a one year lease at this place and the apartment service was so terrible. After I moved out, they charged me 600+ bucks for a bunch of random stuff. They will charge you 150 bucks for "painting damage" if you only live there for one year regardless of the condition. Absolutely ridiculous. Please stay away from this place!

The apartments are old, falling apart, and poorly maintained. The units are very poorly insulated and frequently significantly hotter than outside. There is little to no sound insulation. The property management does everything they can to make as much money from you as possible. The units both inside and out are swarming with flies and mosquitos during certain times of the year and the torn screens are obviously inadequate for keeping them out. Maintenance is not commonly done and when it is it's done shoddily.
They renovated the neighboring unit and part of the process included poisoning for

I would not recommend this apartment to anyone and if zero stars were an option, I would confidently rate Birchwood a 0/5 stars.
The management is inconsiderate and often condescending (that's if you are able to get in contact with them). The units are poorly insulated and will either be colder than the outside temperature on cold days, or hotter than the outside temperature, melting any food that is not placed in the refrigerator and candles that are in the unit. There is no air conditioning, no balcony, and the windows are broken with tears in the screens, allowing bugs (such as mosquitoes)

This is by far the worst place to ever live in. Do not waste your time or money here. They do not care about providing great customer service. We live downstairs and the neighbor upstairs makes a lot of banging nose all day and all night till like 4am. We have complained multiple times. Management says since there isn't enough proof they cannot do anything about it. Then Amber told us that ever since we moved in the complains started happening as if it's ok for the neighbor to keep us up all night. They do not take any complains seriously. Also the maintenance guy is rude he threaten

I made an appointment to see an available apartment from 3 days ago on the phone. I just showed up to the appointment and the girl at the leasing office was completely unaware of the appointment. Moreover, there isn’t any available apartments right now. She didn’t have an answer when I asked why the hell nobody called me before to cancel.
Don’t waste your time if you’re looking for a new apartment.

I have been living here for 2 years. And prices have gone up making it more expensive than it's worth.
Although it looks nice on the outside, is close to el camino and a park/ tennis court, the inside the apartment is not what it seems. The paint is done horribly, the ceiling in the bathroom leaks when the up stairs is showering. Our vent in the bathroom fell twice. It gets very cold during winter due to the thin walls. Especially with those thin walls,if your apartment building is next to Henderson street you will hear sirens, drunk people at night, and if you

I stayed there for a short period of time and it was Ok... Ok.... The worst part was when I vacated. I have deposited $400 for security. And I was told that I will get it back when I will vacate. Everything was fine when I vacated, I also asked them to send someone to check the things were fine. No one came. After some days back I got a e-mail with full and final statement in that there were some general deductions which was fine. But I was shocked to see a deduction of $125for carpet damage. When I vacated everything was fine, I don't know what was that. That also I digested somehow ...

So I lived at this place for over 2 yrs. For the price that I was paying initially, I think the place was worth it, but once they increased the rent by over 200$, it was over for me.

Pros:
1. Relatively cheap for that area
2. Very close proximity to EL camino real, yet at the same time has its quite and peace
3. Has a very nice tennis courts and public play ground pretty close by (its a nice place for a run/ walk)
4. Did not face any security issues

Cons:
1. The paint from inside sucks. Its a poorly done job
2. The walls are very thin
3. The amenities are below average
4. Maintenance requests

So, I have been at this apartment for 2 months now. When I was researching apartments to rent I was a bit apprehensive due to the comments made by other people here regarding drugs, etc. I talked with Mahreen (manager) and she assured me that there was no such thing.

Well, after 2 months I can confirm that there is NO drugs around here. I am REALLY glad that I went with Mahreen's assurance and my gut feel that Sunnyvale area would not have such issues. I have also seen police presence to deter any such illegal activities.

What do I really like about this apartment? The rent is great compared
