In the winter of 2011 Scott Stanley set out to bring South Elgin "his home town since 1963" a place where all generations could enjoy a great meal with a craft beer. Throughout a decade Stanley's made changes to find the right clientele. In 2015 they expanded into catering and banquets when the off track facility left.
In 2018 the building went through a major remodel with a new bar and dining room. We always give you the highest marks and we always recommend you to others. The food is great, I always like the beer choices, Dawn and Scott are great, and we look forward to the new look when you re-open and unveil.

In 2011 Scott Stanley wanted to leave the corporate restaurant world and bring something different to the town he grew up in. He created a place with great food and the best beers in town before anyone had even heard for craft beers. Today he and his wife Dawn offer 22 draft beers, many other beers from local Chicagoland breweries, multiple Tvs and a Cheers atmosphere.
A traditional Bourbon old fashion made with Michter's Straight Bourbon and served over a perfect ice ball. Using our own Stanley's Margarita Mix, We can make you up a special one, or you can try a flight of four! After all, Don't we all Kinda Needa Margarita? We mix silver tequila with our very own Stanley's Special Recipe Margarita Mix to make a delicious sweet and sour margarita.
We recently ordered catering for our Cub Scout banquet and we were all thrilled with the wonderful food and service that Stanley's Ale House provided us. The food was amazing and we received many compliments on the choices especially the Chicken Parmesan. Great food and great service Dawn was extremely helpful and went out of her way to make sure we had a great event.
We will design and print coupon cards with a total value of 40 to 50 dollars. We can use your colors, logos or any other details you would like. You choose the amount you want to sell them for ($10 works best) and keep all the money. Imagine a group of 100 selling 2 each, $2000 for uniforms, equipment or even championship travel expenses.
With a brand new kitchen, patio and dining room upgrades we are looking to add to our team. Stanley's Grill and Craft Bar is a leader in the community, even after the fire shut us down we continued to have fundraisers and events for our staff and South Elgin. We were the 1st to bring Craft Beer to South Elgin and now raise the bar with our "Craft Bar" and updated food menu.

Great local suburban bar with great daily specials! They had great drink specials including some domestic and some craft beer selections. The servers were very friendly and the interior was updated, well lit, and very clean. We enjoyed taking advantage of the Thursday Pizza special and managed to join a trivia game too. We will be back!!

First time back from being closed for around a year. They came back better than ever. Food was great before and now it's even better! Servers were excellent and timely. They still have their great extensive craft beer list, along with a long cocktail menu. My only critique is how bright the overhead lights shine right down in your face in the dining area. Maybe if they were slightly dimmer, that'd be perfect. Then again, I'm a hermit and that's just my opinion. We will for sure be back very soon! 🍻

We love Stanley's. The food is good. They have a lot of new staff and they are doing great. The beer is cold, although I wish they would use chilled glasses. The atmosphere is good. We typically sit at the bar and get great service. We especially love coming to watch the Bears game there. Plenty of energy & fun with raffle prizes. I recommend coming in and trying their new menu & especially their boasted chicken and trying a new craft beer!

Good food! Great drinks! Felt safe! Will be back! Sat on patio, safe distance, had apps and meals, they were liked by family! The restaurant eat in is not, they were trying outdoors, but rain. HOWEVER first time ordering this burger and it was GREAT. Definitely ordering it again. Hope it is just as GOOD

We have recently moved to the area and have ordered take out from Stanley's twice before, this was our first time eating in your dinning area. The food was great and my husband was impressed with Robyn's knowledge of the beers and took her recommendation and loved it (sorry can't remember the name of beer) lol. Robyn was very nice and helpful.
