Terrible food, drinks, and service! AVOID THIS PLACE!
FOOD: Shrimp and grits had 3 (THREE!) small tail-on shrimp in it, the kind you would buy in a bag for $10 at Jewel. Scallops were overcooked and tough, not fresh or tasty. Pot Roast beef was stringy and unappetizing. Ripoff #1.
SERVICE: After being seated, we finally got the attention of our flaky waitress (who turned out to be a manager, and seemed to be doing her best to hide from us) to order a drink after our tiny water glasses were empty (and never during our meal were they EVER replenished). We had to constantly ask for our drinks after

Food looked great, but flavor & taste, We weren’t not impressed. Plus service was so-so. Our food took 40mins to come out, meanwhile, our server didn’t come check on us. My chilaquiles was warm, not hot, and it tasted like a glorified nachos with lots of salsa, very little meat, & eggs on top. Again, not impressed.

We love supporting local and had high hopes based on the menu. It just isn’t the type of place it appears to be. Soup and salads were nice. Server was great. Everything else was below average. Smoked salmon was mostly cream cheese (I really couldn’t even find the salmon), French press coffee was watery, and I genuinely had a hair in my eggs that could not have been mine. I didn’t finish anything. It has so much potential to be quirky and great. Falls short for us.

Craft Urban is amazing. It is succulent. It is simply divine. The fact that they prioritize sourcing local and seasonal ingredients, and STILL have the best happy hour in town? WHERE CAN YOU FIND THAT ANYWHERE ELSE?!?
I can get a burger using local Illinois meat (DID I MENTION IT'S HALF OFF ALL DAY ON MONDAYS?!?), and at the same time order a $5 Chicago handshake (cheap beer and a shot of Malort for those of you who have not had the pleasure of sipping on an elixir of the gods). WHERE ELSE CAN YOU FIND THAT?!?
I can order a dish with locally sourced greens, and at the same time get any cocktail

This place looked nice and had a fun feel to it. Kinda mix of swanky and fancy at the same time. I loved the artwork in the mural on the back wall. The food was good. I did enjoy the drinks though kind of expensive unless you're a beer drinker. The only thing is my server was having a bad day and didn't want to be bothered with us. Had to get up and ask for things. The other servers were really cool though. Super helpful and great attitudes. I'd come again but with a different server or if they're in a better mood.

Some of the friendliest bartenders you'll ever meet--and they make fantastic craft cocktails!
The food is fresh and creative, and you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The fresh bread with seasonal butter and the shrimp and grits are my personal favorites, but we have dined here many times with many different guests, and everyone has come away happy.
It's a great place if you're looking for a city vibe in the suburbs.

Craft Urban is a classy bar. When you drive up, they have cool decor on their outside wall. It is very inviting and unique. We sat outside. The weather was nice, but the view isn't. They have outdoor seating toward the back, so you get an excellent view of the parking lot. However, they have delicious fruity cocktails and a decent beer list; although I think it is seasonal rather than extensive. I got the strawberry fields forever, which was a refreshing summer cocktail. My friends ordered the strawberry daiquiri and miami vice. Both were very sweet, but refreshing. For my entree, I ordered

Amazing atmosphere. Staff was Spectacular just like the drinks and the food. We started with a buffalo cauliflower appetizer carrot soup and someone else had the egg sandwich. The coffee was delicious we tried a few of their drinks the music was spot on the ambience of the place is like you're stepping somewhere in another place it's really a gem of this little town thank you so much for being here. I feel like this place is trying to be a lot of things at once which isn't necessarily a bad thing. The kitschy-ness of the decor was fun but the layout of the tables and everything is slightly off-putting upon entering. We were quickly seated without a reservation on a Saturday afternoon and our waitress was quick to check on us and get things started. We had to look up the menu on our phones via a QR code. My sister, mother, and I got to chatting and had to keep asking for more time to decide on what we were going to order. In the end, we ended up going with a couple of items to split for

We celebrated some birthdays here. Everyone who serviced us wished the birthday ladies a good birthday- which I loved to see! The service, food, and drinks were good. I actually think the drinks is what sold me. Good place but definitely not a place of big portions for the price, so heads up. But good food nevertheless. Waitress was very good and accommodating. We love the hostess ladies, very very welcoming and sweet. We loved the orange butter spread they had, extremely delightful. I ordered gumbo, it was okay, nothing spectacular. Not worth $21. Perhaps I should have ordered a sandwich because

Clean, comfortable, welcoming atmosphere. The decor is quirky and eclectic; a lot for the eyes to enjoy. The food is great too. On this visit, we enjoyed the warmed biscuits, avocado toast w/ bacon added, and the breakfast tacos but we've never been disappointed. Great beer, wine, and cocktail selections. Covered and uncovered outdoor seating available but mine and my husband's favorite option is to sit at the bar. Fun place for all walks of life, kids included.

Craft Urban is one of my favorite places to eat and have drinks. It's a bit far for me but you know a place is good when you're willing to travel far to visit it. Their cocktails are so good and their cheese curds are the best damn cheese curds, and this compliment is coming from someone who is half Wisconsin, you know we love our cheese. I've been here many times and will continue to come many times more!

Please note my experience is only on coming here for drinks and I did not try any food on my visit.
They have qr code on the table to pull up food and drink menus.
Place was very busy and to me the inside felt cramped. Waitstaff did not have a lot of space to stand while waiting for orders or inputting into the pos system. As a result, the service was slow.
I also noticed on the receipt there was an additional fee if paying by credit card.
Also, the entire place smelled like Cole slaw/vinegar to me which was strange.

Very cute quaint local spot!
Had a brunch date here with my Mother in Law and this place exceeded expectations for sure.
We were seated very quickly on a Saturday afternoon, the server was super nice and informative. She suggested many items on the menu in which we tried out. We ended up only ordering a few shareables as the menu isn't very extensive and didn't have dishes I'd consider as brunch options. However, we had the cheese curds and fried pickles (VERY GOOD) and the Buffalo Cauliflower (AMAZING) and the Raspberry lemon sticky buns (EXCEPTIONAL)!!
The only reason I can

I visited this restaurant on a Sunday night. We were greeted quickly and sat immediately.
For an app we ordered the Cheese curds. We waited for the curds 30+ Minutes. There was only about 12 people in the whole restaurant. Our curds finally came out. The waitress said they were going to give us another app for free since we waited so long. They gave us the buffalo cauliflower.
I love cheese curds. However these cheese curds were trash. They had things not cheese breaded and fried with them. So you may be eating a curd, or you may be eating a fried shallot. Even the pieces you knew were cheese

If there were more stars to give... this was amazing. The waitstaff was wonderful, the cocktails were wonderful. Crispy fried cheese was a surprising combination of cheese pickles and peppers. Their burgers were delicious, fresh grilled and cooked accurately to order. The dessert blueberry pop tarts. Epic.
This is also on top of the great indoor outdoor space. The artwork was great. Space is quirky and fun and everything worked great together.
Can't wait to come back.

I give it 3.5 stars really...
The food itself was good, seating was a little odd. Of course they have fallen for the "you can eat outside but not inside" scam. So we sat at a bricket firepit / table, where 40% of the bricks on the table were fallen off and loose. Lol.
Wife had trouble (she is pregnant) sitting on the hightop small little metal stool like chair they had us sit in, and had to stand up for a good amount of our time there because of that...
- Honestly just open restaurants already. People are not dropping dead like it's the plague out there. Come on now. Plenty of
