After 3 weeks of trying to get the doctor to return my call after my prescription feels incorrect still no response . I call nearly every day to be informed they will call me back to at least explain to me why they took my prescription down from what it was but still nothing. They have a pair of my glasses still also.
I would advise going somewhere else

Be weary of the older reviews, as the service has gotten worse with time. They rarely pick up their phones, don't update you when your order is ready, it is impossible to get an appointment, and if you are lucky to score one you will be waiting an eternity to be seen by the optometrist. I had gotten my exams here for 10+ years and had already noticed the lack of service even before the pandemic. Parking in the shopping center is non-existent, as the restaurant next door blocks most of the spots with the outdoor seating tent. You'll find 1 hour parking on the street, but you won't

They are very hard to get ahold of. I have been trying to get them to email me my prescription since March. I had to drive there to ask them to please email it to me because I was completely out of contacts and couldn't get ahold of them to order any. They gave me some samples and sent me on my way, assuring me they'd email it to me. I did not receive the email. I finally received a call back months later and requested it again. 2 months have passed since I received that call. Still no email. I've had to stretch the dailies and use each pair for, at least, a week because of their negligence.

If I can give this place zero stars I would. I believe they charged my insurance for other things I did not agree to was disclosed to me, but the final straw of it is them not answering their phones and office is going under construction and never return an emails or phone calls! I am completely vision impaired without my glasses or contacts, so I believed the reviews read about this place, but I regret ever going to this place. Also the optometrist disclosing his former staff was stealing from him? Should have taken that as a red flag, my mistake, regret ever going to them?

Hamlet was great, I really miss him. I'd been going there since the 90's. It seems that he has retired or sold the business. I went in July for an exam, I ordered a box of contacts. They said they would call when they were in stock. I waited a few weeks with no calls. I tried to call many times but no one ever answers the phone. I went in a few weeks later only to find that the contacts had never been ordered. At that point I ordered another box and paid for it. Again, they said they would call. This place is really awesome! I came here and they took me as a walk in for a contact lens exam. This is great for someone like me who has a busy work schedule and finds it hard to make appointments. The optometrist was very nice and knowledgeable and he even makes his own eye drops for dry eye which works wonders! Took the red right out of my eye almost immediately.
They also have a decent selection of frames and they made mine while I waited. I was in and out in under an hour in a Friday late afternoon!

Just had a great experience with Dr. Hamlet Minasvand, Optometrist and his office! Dr. Hamlet Minasvand is brilliant! I've been going to Lenscrafters for years because I thought, "Ehhhh optometrists are all the same, and with measurements of the machines which they go by, there is no messing up." Wow Dr Hamlet showed me how much THOUGHT he puts into his patients eye complaints!
Dr Hamlet showed and educated me on whats really going on with me eyes. His assistant helped me find the best pair of glasses for me off of the hard criteria I gave him. Didn't feel any pressure

I lost my glasses while on vacation in LA and Moore Optomotry got me in the next day for an eye exam! Hamlet and his staff were so nice & professional! They made me glasses and got me fitted with contacts in an hour! They even reduced the price of the frames so my insurance covered everything and I was able to see on the rest of my vacation! I would highly recommend them!

Love this place &the owner/optometrist Dr. Hamlet is literally the BEST optometrist I've been to in all my years of needing glasses and contacts.. I SEE BETTER after he corrected the wrong prescription given to me by my last optometrist and my eyes feel amazing with his special eye solution for dry eyes...he knows what he's doing!!!

Was able to get me an incredibly affordable contact exam the same day and also cured me of the horrible red eyes/pain is been experiencing for the last year! He specially mixed eye drops for me, and while I came in with eyes Scorching RED, in TEN MINUTES they were white again and in a lot less pain! left this doctors office in tears as I was finally able to see again-The kindness the doctor shows for his patients is truly humbling and genuine. He's also from New York so there's no bullshitting and that's just awesome right off the bat.

Booked an eye exam for Thursday at 1pm, several days in advance. At 11am that day, someone called saying that the doctor had something come up so they needed to reschedule.
