At Love of Learning we believe in playing to learn and learning to play. Through purposeful play we encourage our students to explore, experiment, discover and solve problems. We facilitate learning through both structured and unstructured activities using the thematic teaching approach. All of our literature, math, science, art, music and movement activities correspond with our theme.
Thematic teaching gives our students a wonderful understanding of the world, with the goal always being to provide young children the opportunity to learn new skills in a fun, hands on way. Love of Learning is a NYS licensed program. The teachers and assistants at Love of Learning are dedicated individuals that genuinely love working with children.

I've been sending my children to Love of Learning for four years and counting, and couldn't be happier. The children are treated with the utmost care and love, the teachers are kind, generous and supportive and always willing to accomodate parents and their busy lives and schedules. My daughter cries when it's not a school day, and jumps for joy when it is. The art show in the winter is always a highlight. Small classroom sizes mean your child doesn't get lost in the sauce. Truly a loving, tight-knit family environment, I can't imagine a better place to send my children to pre-school.

Love of Learning is warm and nurturing with plenty free play and also the right amount of structure. I knew my son was safe and in good hands when I dropped him off at school. Miss Holly does fun and creative projects and is a great teacher. She is also sensitive when a child is having a difficult time.

Love of learning is an amazing school. My daughter loved all the hands on activities and came home with a strong passion for learning. The staff are so talented and make learning so exciting for the children. The environment is so safe and inviting for the children and their family's. If your looking for your child's first experience with school to be positive, playful and educational check out love of learning...it is a great choice!

Love this preschool! Curriculum has the perfect balance of sensory activities, exciting lessons, age-appropriate thematic units, art projects, structured and unstructured play, and more! Smaller classes and open communication between teachers and parents makes this school feel more like a family! Highly recommend.
