Wisdom Tree Preschool

The Wisdom Tree Preschool is a school that understands the unique, individual needs of each child. Our school is not a daycare. We follow the Miller Place school district calendar (with a subject to change as necessary). We are aware and sympathetic to the needs of each individual child. Some children require more support in academic areas while others require support and encouragement in the social areas.

Class Description: This is a great class to get your child ready for preschool. This class explores circle time, ABC's, the weather, days of the week, standing for the Flag, etc. The class also includes educational themes, story time, crafts to enhance your child's fine motor skills, as well as practicing following directions.

Since May of 2010, Wisdom Tree Preschool has offered children in the Miller Place, NY area an organic educational experience to prepare them for a life of learning. Our preschool classes are for ages 2-5 years old and are available in AM and PM sessions. These classes include sensory-based learning and we follow the Foundations and Wilson methods of teaching.

Prepare your child for taking the next step into kindergarten with our Pre-K classes at Wisdom Tree Preschool. Our classes are available all year round, not just during the traditional school year. Your son or daughter is sure to love our organic, sensory-based learning style. Our Pre-K program focuses specifically on language, ensuring your child is quite familiar with words and letters before starting kindergarten.

Wisdom Tree Preschool offers several popular Mommy and Me classes where parents can spend time alongside their child in the classroom. These include a number of baby playgroups, toddler programs and our separation classes. This program is built around moving to music and creating fun crafts. Their senses are awakened through movement to music, playtime, story time, parachute play, bubbles and activities tailored to your child's age group.
