Services
Opened in 1996, Winston's Market in Tinley Park is currently our main retail location. We offer a wide variety of Irish groceries, as well as our own homemade Irish Sausages, black pudding, white pudding, Irish bacon and our famous homemade corned beef. Our newly expanded deli section includes deli meats, cheeses, and plenty of fresh deli salads.
In 1967, Michael Winston Sr. opened Winston's Sausage. He worked as a meat cutter in the stockyards and saw a need for a place where the Irish could shop and get the foods they enjoyed from home. Over the years, he refined his recipes for sausage, black and white puddings, soda bread, and many other authentic Gaelic favorites.
The Ashford House, located adjacent to Winston's Market, in Tinley Park, is open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, serving the very best authentic Irish cuisine, as well as traditional American favorites. Our Irish specialties include an Irish breakfast, corned beef and cabbage, shepards pie, and bacon and cabbage.
Winston's Market makes it easy to celebrate Irish heritage or any other occasion with an extensive catering menu featuring a wide variety of options to accommodate any taste. Catering options include a la carte dishes, party trays, appetizers, specialty buffets, dinner packages, sandwich and breakfast packages, children's favorites, and much more.
The Ashford House restaurant opens for breakfast at 7:00 A.M. every day. We also offer a variety of skillets, omelets, and pancakes. Be sure to try a steaming pot of Irish Tea and some homemade soda bread fresh from our ovens. Whether you're hungry for a hearty family lunch or you're simply looking for lighter fare to share with a friend, The Ashford House delivers classic Irish favorites and popular lunch staples with fresh ingredients.

Winston's Market is a great store located next to the Ashford House restaurant/bar in Tinley Park. You can buy many of the items that you eat in the restaurant, such as Irish bacon and sausages, pies and sausage rolls as well as a store full of English and Irish grocery items generally unavailable in the US. The prices are a little high due to the fact that many items they sell are imported from Europe. Their homemade products such as sausages, pies and bacon are excellent.

A huge decline in quality and customer service.
Winston's has been a part of my life for 60 years, with fond memories of an ocasssional Sunday morning fry-up for our Irish family. The sausages and black pudding were always from Winston's and always delicious.
I recently went to Winston's for sausages, black pudding and a few other treats. I bought five items and had four problems, all of which I found after leaving the store so I didn't have a chance for correction on the spot.
First, a $2 bag of chips was rung up as a $5 box of tea. Mistakes are made and I would not complain

I needed a holiday dinner on Christmas Eve eve for 5 adults. I called them at 10am and they made an amazing beef tenderloin meal for me. It was hot and ready at 3pm. It was delicious! My family has been going here for years. We love the chicken salad! I never make reviews but I am so thankful they made this meal so great for me and not expensive!

I love a good fresh made deli Reuben and Winston’s did not disappoint a bit! Their cream of broccoli soup was the perfect addition which was fantastic! Anytime I see these Italian cookies, I just can’t pass them up. There were a ton of other salads, meats and cheeses behind the counter that I’d love to try next time too!
Everyone I encountered gave me a smile, even the other customers that were waiting. Multiple people were chatting about the potato salad and the chicken salad. It made for a more family owned, neighborhood deli type feel.

Mom wanted to try to find the place that her father used to go to buy meat pies and bridies back when I was a kid. We drove out to Tinley and found the store and all the cool imported foods. Can't wait to try our purchases! They didn't have everything as it is made at their 63rd Ave in Chicago place but we will go back if in the neighborhood. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

This is a small market with Lots of imported Irish food items. But they also have many other things. They have a full service deli and fresh baked Irish soda bread. The loaf I chose was still warm when I picked it up. There is a small frozen section and produce section too.
The store is located next to the restaurant.
I was introduced to this place by a friend for their corned beef. The have great corned beef roasts. Fare warning they are more then the ones at other grocery stores but you won't be disappointed by the taste.

Cute little shop full of Irish fare, fresh meats and cheese, bread, and specialty drinks. We came in here after dining next door, and I really enjoyed looking at the Irish candies and specialty beverages. I took a trip to Ireland as a kid and recalled seeing some of those candies there, so it was a nice trip down memory lane! I ended up buying a gummy candy called "Randoms", and LOVED them. I want more NOW! This was an awesome place to shop in. I'd definitely stop in again and look at more of the deli counter options (we weren't going home so couldn't buy anything fresh

With St. Paddy's Day upon us, we stopped to pick up some of the best corned beef on the planet. Yep, Winston's also has a store around Midway airport and with so many people living in this area of Orland wanted that same corned beef but did not want to travel to the city, thus this location came about. This is a food store with a large case of fresh cut meat, chops and steaks. Imported items as well, a good selection. Every year I have purchased my corned beef from Winston's and every year, it has turned out perfect. The taste, the texture is perfect and so soft you could cut it

Over the years, I've become less and less impressed with Winstons.
I used to drive about an hour to get here, and would spend way more money than I really should on imported tea, crisps, biscuits, and the like. I would stock up my shelves with all sorts of goodies. But as time progressed, and other stores began stocking imported foods, Winston's started to lose its appeal, and I find myself coming here less frequently.

I have patronized this store, and their location on 63rd street, for over 30 years. The Tinley location feels like an authentic Irish market (having shopped in them, I can tell you it's true). Their bangers, black pudding, and corned beef are the best I've ever had. Throw the bangers in the oven for 35 minutes and your life will change! You can indulge in Irish treats, great cuts of chops, steaks, pre-made sides, and pick up a gift or two for yourself while you're there. This place combines incredible nostalgia (for me) and top quality.

Whenever we go to visit the niblings in Rockford, we always stop at the Ashford House in Tinley Park on the way back. And I have the Big breakfast.
This time we had three niblings with us: the six-year-old had pancakes, the eight-year-old had waffles, and the ten-year-old split two HUGE breakfasts with her ladyship and I.
Then we went to Winston's next door and bought ten pounds of bacon and Sausages.
I can't think of a better way to start the long drive home.

For most of you, this may be a 3 star place because the place is smallish and the selection very limited, but if it's Irish rashers (bacon) and sausage and pudding you're looking for, this could be a 5-star lifesaver.
