Trice Funeral Home will focus on being the premier provider of compassionate, efficient, and dignified services. The late Rev. Norman A. Trice and Susie Speed Trice had a vision of building their own funeral home. Their vision was realized with the establishment of the elegant Trice Funeral Home. Since 1953, Trice Funeral Home has faithfully served Fuquay Varina; formally Fuquay Springs and the surrounding communities.
Traditional Service - This is a type of service where visitation would be held prior to a ceremony in our facility or another facility i.e. Traditional Service w/Cremation - Similar to a traditional service, however, cremation would take place following the ceremony in place of going to the cemetery.
A funeral or memorial is a customary way to recognize death and its finality. Funerals are held for the living to show respect for the dead and to help survivors begin the grief process. They also give mourners a chance to share stories, create memories, fulfill religious beliefs & customs, participate in a support system, and gather at a peaceful place during a time of confusion and uncertainty.
Holding a funeral or memorial service for your loved one is a positive first step in the grieving process. Family members and friends get a chance to say their goodbyes, and at the same time, they get to share strong feelings with one another. In the days, weeks and months following the service, people continue to need others to lean on for understanding, encouragement and guidance.

My family and I highly recommend Trice Funeral Home and would give them 6 stars if we could! Tiffany was amazing, helpful, very sympathetic to our circumstances! She was not pushy and did not make me feel guilty for what I wanted to do! Tiffany was very understanding and was there whenever I called and had a question!! Jada was very sympathetic and helpful when I picked up my husbands ashes which made the process significantly easier! The staff at Trice Funeral Home will be a BLESSING to you, if you ever find yourself in this unfortunate situation!

Trice Funeral Home did a magnificent job! The wonderful staff at Trice (Mr. Carl, Mrs. Tiffany, Ms. Jada, and many others) made a very difficult time easier. They are friendly, understanding, and extremely helpful. When you don't know what to do or where to start, you don't have to worry about anything with Trice Funeral Home by your side. They can handle it all. Again, Thank you, Trice family, for being there through our time of sorrow, heartache, and pain. Exceptional people and Exceptional service!!!

Earlier this year we experienced the unexpected death of my brother Steven Seawell. I just wanted to say Trice Funeral home was there helping from the moment we called. They took care of much of the paperwork and just did the things hard to do when you are in shock. The Seawell Family wants to thank the staff for their efforts, their patience and making us feel like it was family stepping in to help give my brother the loving ceremony he deserved. I recommend Trice Funeral Home without hesitation.

I (thankfully) have not had to arrange a funeral, but I have worked with Mr. Trice and his team through my local business. I can say, without reservation, that everyone I have spoken with and dealt with have been exceptionally kind and helpful. I can only imagine what the experience would be on the other side of things if I had to hire them to put a loved one to rest. Without a doubt, this is a gem of a local business and I can strongly offer my recommendation.

These are some good, good people. When you lose someone, its hard to even think straight. The family that runs this business handled the whole thing with a lovely balance of compassion and professionlism that made losing my dad just a little less difficult. They are kind and can help you know what to do in those first few painful days. I would wholeheartedly recommend them. If I ever have to go through this again - God forbid - I will be turning to them for help.
