Hi, my name is Keyla welcome to my salon - Naturally Chic. I am a licensed Cosmetologist and Curly Hair Specialist located in Columbus, Ohio. Naturally Chic is a boutique hair salon that specializes in natural curly hair. Naturally Chic Salon focuses on working with natural hair care, styling, curly cutting, and color.
We are very honest about what service we can and cannot do. We cannot repair, restore or fix heat damaged hair, chemically altered hair or breakage. Please read through all of my policies and information provided below before booking your service to ensure you qualify for our services. Booking an appointment means you are in full agreement with policies and information provided.

If your current regimen consist of using any raw oils (olive oil, castor oil, coconut oil etc), clay, henna, rice water, food, heavy butters (shea butter, mango butter, coco butter), silicones, petroleum, grease, Eco styler /or Wetline gel, Cantu, Shea Moisture, Carol's Daughter products.You will need to stop using these products on your hair and do a detox before your appointment.

I found Keyla a little while ago, but didn’t finally make an appt to get a curly cut until Dec 2020. I was nervous because I have had multiple curly cuts by other stylists, but I always ended up hating it. I’m soooo glad I gave Keyla a chance because she truly knows what she is doing. Using QUALITY products and she takes her time by explaining what she’s doing and why. I’ll continue to drive to Columbus (an hour from me) to get my hair cut, colored, treated, and anything else. I highly recommend her services!

One thing that Columbus was missing was a Salon that truly focused on the education and maintenance of natural hair. Keyla took her time to explain products, proper application and discussed my hair situation. I have to say during my visit learned a lot. This was my first visit and l will be back, the prices reflect not only the education but a person profile and access to questions on your style and continued support while do your hair at home, plus each defined curl is trimmed, which takes time. Keyla is skilled, detailed, gentle, mindful, and professional. I had absolutely no complaints and felt extremely comfortable on my first visit. I knew my hair was in good hands because I had followed Keyla's work for at least 2 years. Keyla knows natural hair. I haven't had a professional trim in 8 years. Her preliminary detangling process and wash techniques was similar to my own. But I was very impressed that she used medium heat to blow dry my hair and set the flat iron to only 380 degrees. My experience with this salon was absolutely amazing! It was clean, comfortable, and pleasant. My stylist knew all about natural hair care and provided so many helpful tips. She spent significant time ensuring my curls were defined and styled to perfection. ***My 3 hour drive from Detroit to Columbus was more than worth it as my hair tuned out perfectly for my engagement pictures that were scheduled the next day.
