I hired Day Property Management in August of 2016 after trying to manage my property myself for three months. They stepped in and helped in a huge way. I was overwhelmed with managing the property myself. The tenants I had filled the property with were difficult to communicate with, dishonest and complained a lot.

I rented from day property several years ago. I had to bring Them to court to attempt getting my security deposit back. I won and the court placed a judgment on them. Upon leaving court, the manager threatened me; a few weeks after the court they sent a partial payment of my security deposit….their check bounced. I have still not received what is owed to me. I have contacted them over the years periodically, to no avail. As of today, I still have not reviewed my security deposit.
Also, they are very slow to do any repairs or maintenance on their properties.

I was honestly really nervous to apply for an apartment through this company after reading the reviews but everyone I spoke to was really helpful. They got me an answer within a few days and texted me (Which I loved) rather than calling me to ask for extra documentation. Unfortunately the property I originally applied for got rented but if they get something else available in my price range I would definitely consider renting from them.
Just for anyone reading reviews remember there are 2 sides to every story and while communicating with them about my application I have found no basis to back

Probably the least responsible property managers out there that I know of they don’t care about their property’s and are very unresponsive. The basement ended up flooding with sewage they cleaned up the water but not the actual floors caused the carpet and wood down there to mold and smells really bad.

Terrible, terrible service. There were multiple times they just refused to answer my requests and my repair requests were never attended to. They take anyone for a renter, and there was a man upstairs who was constantly overdosing and the ambulance would come.
They do not care about their tenants. Personally, I don’t know how these people sleep at night, knowing they are doing the ABSOLUTE MINIMAL required to meet standards and to take your money. DISGRACEFUL !!!!!!

Day property management will rent to anybody. That being said, READ YOUR LEASE THOROUGHLY IF YOU RENT FROM THEM. There are so many clauses that are absolutely ridiculous. My apartment flooded due to a water main break, rendering me unable to live there for two months. According to them, i was “choosing not to live there” even though i did not have an actual floor was exposed to mold and debris. It is still not fixed and i will never rent from them again.

I’m truly disappointed in this property and the management of it. We put in work orders and it takes them months (prior to COVID as well) to get things taken care of. Several issues in this home that I didn’t see prior to agreeing to move in (out of state resident) and then them telling me it’s my problem and I have to fix it.
Miscommunication issues as well between the managers, maintenance and tenants.
Please beware of this agency and the homes you rent with them. Save yourself a migraine and stay FAR away. I would give no stars if able.

So they charged a $35 application fee per adult, took about two weeks to process the application, only to send a denial letter. I reached out to appfolio to find out what discrepancies were found during the background check. None, no bad credit history, no criminal history, etc. I contact Day Property Management to ask why then was i denied? They give you some corporate BS saying they don't have to provide reasoning for denial and also don't have to refund you. That seems very shady and disrespectful to customers. Please, don't waste your time or money on this trash company.

Unpleasant people to work with to say the least. MAKE SURE YOU GIVE THEM 35 DAYS NOTICE WHEN YOU WANT TO LEAVE. Dont worry about your security deposit. They'll take good care of it when you move out. The size of my apartment, I could have had it professionally cleaned for 200$. They charged me 500$ and it was nicer when I left than when I got there. They charged me for damages/maintenance damage that was done before I got there. Never gave me a sheet to document existing damages and now I see why. Will never deal with them again or any company like them.
