Services
History is definitely part of our past. Our family was among the first families to settle the area known as Jackson Hole. We are the fifth generation to be able to live in this gorgeous country. Our grandfather was one of the first pioneers to bring a covered wagon over Teton Pass. The road from Idaho to Wyoming was finally open for wagon travel.
The family rooms at our Jackson Hole motel have everything you'll need to accommodate large families that want all the comforts of home. The bungalow is great for families with older kids that want to have their own room, or two couples traveling together. The bungalows can even be the place that family and friends traveling together can meet up to cook a meal and share stories of their Jackson Hole adventures.
The famous Jackson Hole Rodeo is every Wednesday and Saturday nights. Come and watch as cowboys and cowgirls gather to compete in barrel racing, team roping and the thrilling bull riding - One place where 8 seconds can seem like forever. Enjoy the show as the competitors get "rough tough and a wee bit western".
Driving into town from Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks, Highways 89, 191, and 26 you will need to take a left at your second stop light on to Gill Avenue. Take Gill Avenue for two blocks to Willow Avenue. Take a right onto Willow Avenue. Continue two blocks to Broadway Avenue. Take a left onto Broadway Avenue.

The Golden Eagle has a good location inside Jackson and is moderately priced for the notoriously pricey area. I stayed in a room with 2 queen beds, a couch, table, mini-fridge and microwave. The room itself was quite spacious and the bed was comfortable. I would definitely consider staying here again if I return to the area.

Family run inn, no frills but we had a comfortable night sleep. The bathroom was a little small, but the room was a decent size. Great location, just under half a mile from the town square, but far enough away you don't have to deal with the crowds. Definitely a budget (well for Jackson prices), but overall we had a nice stay. Friendly staff

We chose the Golden Eagle because of it's location and that it was somewhat more affordable than some other locations in the area. The room was clean and comfortable, we had a good night's rest; and it is a close easy walk to the center of town.

This is a family owned hotel with a very friendly staff. The hotel is located within walking distance to the nearby businesses, so I left my vehicle parked on their property while I looked around Jackson. My room was very clean and comfy, but if I had to make a small recommendation, it would be to fix the in-wall A/C unit, it works, but a little noisy.
There are a lot of "upscale" hotels in the area that cost an arm and a leg, but if you simply need a nice, affordable place to stay, especially if you have a family, the Golden Eagle is it! I look forward to staying there again next year!

We had a nice stay at the Golden Eagle, it's nothing fancy but also isn't a bad place to stay. Here's a quick breakdown:

PROS:
-Very close to town! 5 minute walk to restaurants and bars
-Very friendly and helpful front desk staff, incredibly responsive when we had some flight delays and needed a late check in

CONS:
-Very dated, squeaking pipes in the shower, old AC unit that kept turning off, furniture and appliances were old
-Extremely expensive for what you get. We paid $250/night for 2 queen beds
-No Amenities, no pool, fire-pit, breakfast, or nice outdoor space

Family owned, Friendly staff, and clean! I booked the 2 bedroom house for my dad and his girls during peak season. My dad was so happy with the place, he asked if I can add another night. I called and spoke to the sweet front desk lady to see if they were able to accommodate but they were already fully booked, but said she would put us on her list if there's any cancellations. She was over accommodating by calling other lodging in the area to check for ability in case there wasn't any cancellation at her place. Goes to show how kind they are. I appreciate her so much!

We stayed here for our wedding weekend and they were very accommodating! A simple hotel but the room was clean and massive. A fair price in Jackson as well!

Highly recommended! Everything a no-frills motel in a mountain town should be. Friendly staff, clean rooms, historic roadside hotel style but well maintained. I had a fantastic stay. If you are in Jackson, you don’t plan to be in your motel room except to sleep. Spend your money on the amazing restaurants in town. You will not be disappointed!

The Golden Eagle Inn is passable as a place to stay. Clean and comfortable, but that's about as much as you can expect. The WiFi is unusable, and seeing other reviews it has been this way for years, so hopefully you have cell coverage. The floors carry sound easily so if someone is walking above you it can wake you up. The refrigerator is so loud I had to unplug it, and the air conditioner was not staying on the first night and will not even turn on the second night. The shower is nice until you have been in for a minute and the pipes start squealing.

Clean, quiet, excellent location. Nothing fancy, but we enjoyed our stay there. It's a smaller hotel, which we also liked, with good parking. We liked how close it was to Jackson Square and all the dining/shopping. The hotel staff were very courteous and friendly. Will definitely stay there again.

Ever single one of the staff members were very nice and welcoming to us. We had a big uhaul and they let us park it there early and through our stay while we traveled around the grand teton and yellowstone. It is also very close to the downtown area which was really nice and welcoming as well. Rooms were just fine and we weren't there much anyway. Thanks to your awesome staff!

The outside of the hotel is a little run down, but the rooms are fine. The bathroom is microscopic, but there's a nice size sink and dressing area. The location is great and the workers are very nice and helpful. The area is quiet, but still within walking distance to the square. Overall, a very nice stay!

The rooms are really clean. Bathrooms were clean. Our room included a small fridge, tv, and microwave. The outside looks a bit dated, but the room was nice and clean. The shower was hot. Theres a heat lamp and a vent in the bathroom. There's a wall unit For A/C-heat. Parking can be a little crowded. It's around the end of September and we booked one night through expedia for $155. The next night we booked directly through the hotel and rates had dropped to $109.

Golden Eagle will provide a decent, clean room, if a bit spare in amenities. However, that's all you get.

- The wi-fi is very weak. I ended up turning wi-fi off on my phone and going with cell service.

- Parking is surprising inadequate. Each morning, I came down to a full lot with trucks and cars parked sort of in the middle of the lot. Not a big deal but I didn't appreciate having a car jammed in next to mine, either. Some parking space lines would be nice.

- The motel is not super close to downtown but it's walking distance if several extra blocks don't bother you. But

Stayed here on Aug 28. A mom and pop type of hotel. Very clean and quiet with plenty of parking. Had a good talk with Daina about electric cars and charging. Walking distance to downtown! Recommended!

We visited this inn during the 2017 Solar Eclipse and the service was amazing. We called ahead to make sure the reservation was okay with us coming in after 3pm. They said, "Sure, without a problem". We arrived around 7pm and got the keys and headed to our room. We were greeted with goodie bags for the solar eclipse and map to of the entire village. Housekeeping were so sweet! After long days of being in the car to yellowstone and the village, we came back to the hotel with our beds done and the pillows all neat in their place.

I would definitely check this place out again and recommended

"Mom and Pop" motel that has the exterior feel of a typical 1950s motel - with refurbished interior. This place was half the price of motels with similar size rooms with chain names or in the downtown area. And we loved it....! Why (besides the price)?

1. Big rooms - 2 queen sized comfy beds - room to rattle around.
2. Microwave and fridge - for nights you don't want to eat out!
3. Easy walking distance to downtown Jackson - yet 3 blocks out - so away from all the noise - this is huge for me
4. Only a couple blocks walk to the National Elk Refuge - a place in Jackson often

GOOD PRICE GOOD AMENITIES SMALL QUIRKS
The price was excellent especially when everything else seemed to cost twice as much in this area. Plus it was a very short walk to the bustling area of Jackson and a short drive to many natural wonders of the Grand Tetons area.

LOOKING AT THE INSIDE
The bed was huge! It was the perfect comfort after a long day filled with physical activities. The room was also pretty big so I never felt like I had to climb over anyone or the bags. The microwave was also very useful for snacks. Once a regular sight now the fat television almost seemed comical in this age
