The apartment itself has enough conveniences and potential. The management attitude and culture is "it is what it is" and quality control is not the best. The focus is the bare minimum and fixing only the symptom, not the totality of the problem. For example:
1. Even though the temperature were in the freezing conditions, they did would not change plan to keep their resident's welfare in mind.
2. Heat wasn't working right on the desire temperature; so basically they advised to increase the temperature until heat comes out.
3. Heat doesn't work at night, but works during the day. They closed

This place is horrible. roaches, elevators are always broken. Concierge misplaced a package I needed to be mailed out. They somehow misplaced the package. So when I received a call from the rental house that I rented the lens from that they have not received it nor it had any activity of being scanned by UPS. When I called concierge‘s they said oh yeah we gave it to FedEx. When I contacted the property management they said that they were not responsible for packages being mailed out. Which basically they told me when I signed the lease that that was part of the service there we could drop off

I have been a resident here at The Point for almost a year and I have endured nothing but positive experiences! The staff here are exceptional and maintenance also does a fine job with service requests. During the pandemic the management office was very strict on the cleanliness of the building and the policy of masks due to COVID. The concierge Travell was always kind and helpful alongside the agents in the leasing office. My leasing agent Kylra did an incredible job with my move in process. I have yet to endure issues with pests. I would definitely recommend this complex. They are also close

I just moved into the Point in February and couldn't be happier. I specifically chose an older building vs the newer buildings surrounding this one because the units where significantly larger as in twice the size of my last super tricked out apartment in Old Town Alexandria for the same price. I love my unit. The property has a dog park which is awesome, the maintenance team is fantastic-every request I have made has been resolved in less than 24 hours, they were in and out before I even realized. The front desk staff is equally great. Incredibly friendly and helpful. Management thus far has been

I recently moved here and so far the entire staff, from the amazing people at the front to Tiffani--our leasing agent, have been nothing but helpful--before, during, and after my move. The maintenance service is also great, i had a minor issue with the microwave and the issue was fixed really quickly. I found them randomly while stressing over apartment hunting, since nothing I had found that week was what I was looking for, thank you, for getting me an appointment right away and allowing me to move in ASAP! I seriously recommend these apartments to anyone thinking about moving to the DMV area

I had a one year lease at the The Pointe. I would never lease here again. As the previous reviewers stated, the value isn’t here. This building is poorly managed, and is falling apart, yet the prices are still set at a comparable rate to the neighboring luxury apartments. I will not miss the broken elevators, roaches, expensive parking, high utilities, and a rebuttal from Glenda about any issue brought to management. It is obvious this apartment building is in decline, and every avenue is being taken to maximize profits at the expense to the tenant.

I have been living in the Point at Pentagon City apartment complex for the last 2 years. During this time, the apartment complex management has been improved. There are more holiday’s parties, special occasion’s gatherings, and raffles throughout the year.
The apartments are spacious and have much better value in comparison to the neighboring apartments for rent. Last year the parking garage was power wash cleaned and the ground floor hallways were painted. Some apartments were renovated with hardwood floors and new kitchens. As is the case with many people, I do not often write reviews unless I truly respect a business or if I am trying to warn people away. I am happy to say that "The Point" falls into the former category. I lived there over the course of a year (Aug '16 - Sept '18) and want to share my thoughts.
First and foremost, I give a lot credit to the staff. They were the most consistently helpful and cheerful people I have ever seen. The building is just like new, so I didn't encounter any broken items during my stay, but even the maintenance and concierge teams always smiled and had a kind word while passing

My fiancee and I have been living here at the The Point since August 2017 and I have nothing but great things to say.
The location is absolutely fantastic. We are about a 7-minute walk from the nearest metro station, whole foods across the street, and the Pentagon City Mall a few blocks down. In addition, the area feels safe regardless of the time of day.
The building itself really caters to most people’s needs. We frequently visit the pool during the summer (beautiful pool!) and visit the gym several times a week. The actual apartment rooms are spacious and complete with a fair-sized balcony

Came here with a friend to tour and we ended up signing a lease. This place is awesome. Minutes away from the metro, mall, Costco and a block away from whole foods. Highway is 1 min away and there is plenty of street parking for guests. Loved the facilty because of the views, updated units, concierge, security and how clean this place is.
