I visited this salon for the first time today, and had such a great experience! First off, the salon is very clean, and I love the way it is decorated. It's a very fun, yet relaxing environment. The staff was all very friendly. I told my stylist, Devon, that I wanted to go platinum, so he started me on that process. I'm very happy with the results he got with the first process, and look forward to visiting him again in the future.

Years ago in 2007 I moved to Houston and selected a hair salon off of Yelp. I was lucky that my first appointment was with Umar because he handled my baby fine, thin, and shoulder length hair with amazing skill. (Many before him screwed up my cut) I also like to be adventurous with color. Umar loves the color challenge and it is always a work of art. I was so impressed I have kept going to back to Umar as well as followed him to his new location.

I went here with a Groupon for the Keratin Treatment. Heather was my stylist. I was impressed as soon as I walked in with the adorable salon - especially since the shopping center it's in is not the nicest. I also really appreciated that they had late appointments. They took me at 6 p.m. for a keratin treatment (that can take around 2 hours!). I work full time so it's really nice when places are open after normal business hours. I have nothing but praise and joy to express for Umar. I met him when he came to my mom's room in Kindred Hospital to brighten her day by giving her a wonderful manicure and pedicure. He was not able to finish, due to time constraints, but he followed her to finish, when she was moved to another facility the next day. Love this salon! Umar is fantastic. I had only seen him once before at his previous salon and when I came to Salon 807 I was very impressed. It's a small, comfortable environment. Trendy, yet laid back ambiance. Since moving to Houston I have had a difficult time finding a salon and stylist who are worth sticking with and I am so happy i have finally found Umar and now Salon 807!
