Critical: Professionalism, Responsiveness
They are not truthful when it comes to apartment availability. They just want to take as much application money by listing apartment availability while it is already rented. I never thought renting an apartment is like begging for food, I have to call everyday in the past 2 weeks. It is not right.

I was referred to Jerry through a friend. After talking with him, he said he had a rental coming up in my old neighbor hood.
I met with his wife Sue, and everything went perfectly.
The apartment was completely remodeled, and is 200ft. from my previous address.
I couldn't be happier.

They are greedy and lazy. They used our security deposit to paint the house while there was nothing outside normal wear and tear. Also they simply did not respond to many of our emails and requests during our tenancy.

I have never had a problem with sun coast. Any problem I have had they have fixed immediately. My broken dishwasher they replaced with a new one, my clogged drain they sent someone the next day, and a car I needed towed from my spot they sent a tower for in the next 24 hours. Expensive for the quality, but hey its Santa Barbara; it's all expensive.

Beware!!! Very sketchy agents... Regardless of house condition your deposit will be gone. Any problems with the house? Hope you are a good Plummer. DONT RENT HERE!

We rented for a year and they never helped us with anything. Our sink was clogged when we moved in and when we called them they charged us more than we would've paid to call someone. The sink was never fixed and either drained slowly or not at all throughout the year. When we moved in they had just painted and when we moved out it looked exactly the same yet they painted again. They had 21 days to send the inventory and the security deposit. Have we heard anything? NO. They lost our rent twice and we had to get the bank to void a cashiers check which is difficult. By far the worst rental experience ever. They remodeled with our $6000 security deposit (illegal) and then charged us more. They made themselves unavailable anytime we needed anything. The plumbing was bad when we moved in and never got fixed despite multiple calls and requests. We had no bathroom sink for 4 months. Just your typical student housing where they take advantage of your parents (or in our case our own) money.
