Dr. Merendino graduated from the University of Tennessee's College of Dentistry Program in Memphis. Growing up in Bristol, TN Dr. Merendino fell in love with our wonderful region and has now been in private practice in the beautiful Model City for over 8 years.
Prior to private practice, Dr. Merendino had one year experience as an associate dentist in a general practice and also spent one year focusing on children's dental health at the Hawkins County Health Department.He is a member of the ADA, AGD and AACD. You will find him oftentimes volunteering at RAM or the Providence Medical Clinic.

Before: Front (left) Central tooth has a poor restoration. Does not look natural and is not contoured properly to match the gumline of the rest of the teeth. After: Replaced with an All Porcelain Crown (no metal). Tooth is now contoured to match the rest of the gumline. Restored tooth looks very natural and matches the shape and color of the patient's teeth.

Panoramic X-rays (also known as Panorex(R) or orthopantomograms) are wraparound photographs of the face and teeth. They offer a view that would otherwise be invisible to the naked eye. X-rays in general, expose hidden structures, such as wisdom teeth, reveal preliminary signs of cavities, and also show fractures and bone loss.

I haven't been able to go to the dentist in several years due to no dental insurance and anxiety. However, here recently, my husband was able to get family insurance at his place of employment. So, knowing that my teeth were in desperate need of help, I made an appointment with Dr. Merendino's office. The entire staff there is phenomenal, and they now have me on a good solid path to having a healthier mouth.

When I first went inside the dentist office I was greeted , very respectful they were very nice an understanding they listen to what I had to say, an gave me very good feed back, the nurse were great patient w me an the doctor was excellent can't wait to my next appointment, to get my teeth fix, if you need a good dentist that listen. and respect your opinion an can guide you to the right place if he can't help, this is the place you need to be, thank you all for your help

What an awesome dental office. Everyone so genuinely friendly and responsive. It starts from the top with Dr Merendino. A top notch dentist who can do everything. Jasmine in the office is so patient with any billing or payment issue that comes up. And they always work you in if you are having an issue. Karla is the best dental hygienist I have ever seen. So diligent in making sure every bit of plaque and stain removed. No reason to even consider going anywhere else.
