I called multistate and spoke with Jim regarding a failed transmission issue on a 2017 dodge grand caravan. I explained the problem to jim and he said it was odd for a vehicle of this year to have this problem. The previous shop diagnosis the problem and said the transmission needed to be rebuilt but I decided to get a second opinion and allowed Jim to pickup my vehicle. Jim initially said the tow cost would be $50. After getting my vehicle to his shop things started to change . Now in order to diagnose the problem he would have to take the transmission apart which would cost 575. I ask Jim how

This is my first experience with Multistate after dealing with multiple places similar, and I have to admit I was a bit apprehensive, however, THEY DIDN'T DISAPPOINT! If you want honest, quality, and professionalism at its finest, then I highly suggest the South Holland location! I spoke with Jim and he was extremely helpful as well as professional. I told him the problem I was having and he immediately asked me to bring it in without hesitation. They could've easily charged me the flat rate fee to look into the problem ($575) just to make some quick cash but they didn't. I can honestly say its

We came in today for the transmission and from the moment we came through the door we were greeted and treated great customer customer care and honesty of our vehicles needs. Love places like this. The staff was real old school genuine hard workers that gave honest and true prices with great work also. Classic businesses like these aren't around anymore. Need more like them.

This place offered the worst service that I have ever received from any mechanic, if not from any business I have ever visited. I live in Michigan, and I experienced car trouble while passing through on my way to Iowa.When I brought my car in, I was told that the mechanic would take a look and that I would hear back by the end of the day.

I brought in my 2002 van because it was kicking as it increases in speed at certain points. They could not have been more helpful.For FREE they checked it out, told me what it needed and suggested the vehicle might not be worth putting that much money into it. My vehicle was brought here for review of possible transmission issues. Upon receipt of the initial phone call from the mechanic Marty, he informed me that the cost to inspect the transmission would be $575. I was never offered or advised of the free performance check.
