Hundreds of Ohio families count on us each and every year. We have truly established ourselves as a leader among Ohio funeral homes. A funeral service is one of life's most important events, and that is why you need to count on our reputable, trustworthy funeral home. Funerals are not an everyday purchase, and unfortunately, people often get taken advantage of because they do not know what they actually need and don't need.
At Davis-Babcock Funeral Home we are an open book and will work with you for exactly what you need. Our staff members work in the death care industry because it is more of a vocation for them than a job. We are all passionate about helping people during one of life's most difficult moments. We provide our General Price List on our website because we want to be transparent about exactly what we offer and how much each service/product costs.

Obits act as quiet reminders of the finite nature of our lives. Yet, for those who have recently experienced the death of a family member or friend, obits mean so much more. It is a bittersweet reminder of all we've lost, but it can also help us to remember all we enjoyed while they were alive. If you have recently lost someone you love, we hope that you will accept our condolences.
G. K. Chesterton wrote, Courage is almost a contradiction in terms. It means a strong desire to live taking the form of readiness to die. The men and women who served in the armed forces, whether during a time of war, or one of peace, are living examples of that contradiction. Each should be honored and remembered, so that our gratitude never fades.
Each of our funeral directors and staff members are committed to providing your family with the finest in personal care. In fact, for years, it's been comforting for Ohio families to know that we are available to help at any time of the day or night. When a loved one dies, all you need to do is make one phone call.
The staff members of Davis-Babcock Funeral Home are very active in both community and professional organizations. Here is just a short list of the local, regional and national groups where we put our time and energy. Mitch is proud to be an Eagle Scout and has been involved with the leadership of Troop 280 since his son Ted was a member over 10 years ago.

I love their customer service on ever level! Even the office went out of their way to help me with fmla paperwork for work! Helped me to give all paperwork to hospice and have them sign and give back to them. I had no way to make this happen my self, so they did the delivery of paperwork and letting me know when it was complete so I could pickup and give to my place
of work. The whole TEAM made this a much better time than was expected. I LOVE YOU GUYS
