A third-generation family owned restaurant, Golden China was the first Chinese restaurant in Harrisonburg. The restaurant opened its doors in 1972 and has been serving long-term customers from all over the Shenandoah Valley and beyond since that time.

This place doesn’t have the biggest buffet in town but all the essentials are there and the food is top quality. Are there again today. Food was fantastic.

The food was delicious and was well prepared. The service was excellent and they keep your drinks filled. They removed your plates and the plates wasn't in your way or stacked on your table. It was very clean.

Awesome buffet with hot Chinese food favorites, as well as Japanese sushi. My favorite was the coconut shrimp! Great pricing and attentive service.

I ordered take out from this place because it was almost 9p and it was close to my hotel. Horrible food. I ordered Bourbon chicken and it looked like some kind of mystery meat, but not chicken. No vegetables with it and I had asked for broccoli. The fried rice was almost black in color, burnt/dried out, inedible. The crab racoon was the only decent thing I ordered. Don't was your money on this trash!!

Took the family out for Sunday dinner. Had never eaten there before. Buffet is not very expensive, and they sell alcohol. Staff was very friendly. The environment was clean, and family oriented. Family dinner was a success. Will definitely be going back.

Very easily the best buffet in Harrisonburg. The service is always fantastic, the price is reasonable, and the location couldn't be more convenient. Make sure you try the coconut shrimp mix stuff. It is the best Chinese dish you have ever had. Also, the sushi is pretty darn good for buffet!

The very best food for a very good price. $12.99 for all you can eat buffet. Excellent food, seafood. Very good service. I'd recommend this place any day of the week. Right off off 81 Harrisburg Va. Rt.33 exit. Go, you wont be disappointed.

Golden China has very good food at this restaurant and I enjoy the variety of foods they have at the buffet and serving myself all I can eat for an affordable price. The only thing that bothers me a little bit is none of the waitresses know very much English and that was very disappointing when I had to catch their attention when I accidentally ate Wasabi sauce when I thought it was guacamole sauce and my mouth was on fire and I was trying to ask them if they had any milk so my mouth would cool down lol. Otherwise than that incident and then not speaking very much English I enjoy eating here.

They have A Clean Buffet.. So Delicious and All Foods are just at the Right Temp. to eat. If you haven't visited Golden China, Please Go and Enjoy!! The Owners are Kind & Polite. The Staff are there to Help you. The Dining Room all Seating is New. Their Sushi is Wonderful & is made every 30 minutes ~ so Many Customers come to eat it because of it's Freshness.
(Everyone needs to Wear a Mask & Gloves at this Buffet!! It's To Protect Everyone & You. I have had the Covid vaccine but I Care about Everyone Who I Eat with and I do Not get offended when I am Asked to Please Wear gloves & a mask around
