I'm honestly surprised this place has as many stars as it does. The doctor is very kind and attentive, but the staff and customer service are terrible.
My experience: came for my appointment, they were running behind (typical of all doctors, to be expected). The receptionists were loudly badmouthing an absent previous 'difficult' customer the entire time I waited. However, with the doctor? Had a great exam. Had help picking out affordable frames.
Fast forward - arrived to pick up my frames. Tried them on - couldn't see? My vision was very blurry. I told staff this. They

Went here on a whim since it's across the street from me and I was so pleasantly surprised! First, the front desk staff is soooo friendly, quick and competent. I showed up a bit early to my appointment but was promptly seen - I've been to offices where the wait time is ridiculous or the front desk doesn't even acknowledge you.
Dr Hung takes her time to go through your results and doesn't rush you out the door. I found my new favorite optometry office! Highly recommend.

I followed Dr. Ullman here, and I've also enjoyed becoming a patient of Dr. Hung's. They are both fabulous, knowledgeable and thorough. This post is really for Justin, though. He went above & beyond to make sure I had my new contact lenses for my upcoming vacation... even working to get new samples in stock overnight as a back up. I'm so grateful for Justin's care and service. It will be great to actually see the beach on our long-awaited vacation. Thank you!!

This place is fantastic! I followed Dr. Ullman here from his prior practice. (He's partially retired now.) I've seen Dr. Ullman since I moved to Houston in 2015. He is the most thorough optometrist I've ever seen. A few months ago, I purchased my first pair of glasses with progressive lenses from Eye to Eye. I took the glasses back for assistance due to blurry vision. Everyone at Eye to Eye was very helpful. The staff inspected my glasses to make sure they matched the prescription. They did. Then Dr. Hung (she's great too!) did a vision check (Dr. Ullman wasn't working

I was told that my coverage didn't cover my year supply of contacts or glasses and only a small portion of exam and had paid out of pocket for both even though I had VSP which I thought was strange because I have never had to pay for this before.
I had to call my benefits through work as well as VSP to figure out what the problem was. Come to find out Eye to Eye didn't ask what insurance I was using and just assumed it was what whatever my medical coverage provider used as their Eye coverage. Apparently Aetna has their own crappy coverage through my work.

My wife and I had a great experience with Eye to Eye from the second we signed up for an appointment online (which was super convenient in itself). They saw that we were both wanting to come in and made sure to schedule our appointments back to back so we could go together. We heard about Dr. Hung from a friend so we specifically asked for her. Dr. Hung was amazing, friendly, really knowledgeable about our options for contacts, and really took her time to get our prescriptions right. I actually had fun at the optometrist's office! That's something I never thought I'd say. Dr. Hung took the time not only to explain all of the scans, but also to get to know me and my eyes. I appreciate the very genuine "bedside manner." She's kind, knowledgeable, and most importantly can communicate her knowledge to her patients.
Also of note: the tech (eye examination equipment) at this office is excellent. I don't know what device was used to measure my eye pressure but it did not feel like the horrible puff test and for that I am eternally grateful.

This was the best experience I've ever had at an eye doctor! The customer service exceeded my expectations, Dr. Cruz was so very pleasant and knowledgeable and the staff where professional, efficient and knew what they were doing! Without the dilation procedure, I would have been in and out in 20-30 mins. Dr. Cruz was so thorough she caught 2 eye disorders no one in my 30yrs has caught!
