The staff of Highland Pines showed me so much concern and encouragement during my rehabilitation, in such a professional way they let me know they were there to help me get stronger and better. Everyone was so kind! I have always felt I could say what was on my mind and be listened to. The other positive thing about Highland Pines is that you really get to visit and know the other residents.
Highland Pines Rehabilitation Center provides coordinated, comprehensive services to meet the care needs of the individual resident and patient. The interdisciplinary team members will collaborate with residents, patients, families, and staff to develop an individualized plan of care for each resident and patient.

Our skilled nursing programs benefit patients following surgery, as well as those who have a limited capacity due to a prolonged acute illness or the effects of a chronic disease. These patients' medical condition are stable but may not have reached their full recovery potential. Respiratory services for those patients with respiratory conditions who may require airway management, oxygen administration, and pulmonary hygiene.

I worked here as a housekeeper last year and to be honest I can say I didn't feel that welcomed
The housekeeping boss I felt had favorites for sure!
I felt like nothing I did was right or wasn't good enough
Sad part is there was a woman always on her phone in the back or would disappear for minutes at a time while I was doing the rooms
I got blamed for several things such as dirt being behind a residents door that wasnt there when I cleaned sad part was a few housekeepers did the same room and I believe wasn't yelled at for it
So one morning I broke down and walked out why would I stay somewhere

I am a previous employee CNA.
This place is just.. horrible..
Please if you love your family member, dont send them to this facility.
All they care about is MONEY.
I even have inside word stating when the stimulus checks went out they stole thousands of dollars from the patients who aren't totally "there" in the mind to understand certain things.
They took that from them.
I'd give this place NO STARS if I could.

Place is dirty, smells like urine and fecees all the time. CNA’s for the most part are useless they don’t even answer the nurse call buttons half the time. Social services person is unqualified for the job and avoids you when looking for her. On the bright side the Nurses are pleasant and helpful.

The staff is very lazy! Its very dirty and I definitely wouldn't leave my loved ones there. My husband was there for a few months and he went threw hell there. Thank God he is able to talk and can fend for himself or they would have just left him in bed to die. Please don't put your loved ones in there!!!!

Rest of you I have no use for. Angie who is the d o n you need to get a spine. Sandy the Adon you don't know every last little thing that you think you do. Administrator you need to find somewhere else to be. Activities director you are phenomenal. Last but not least Social Services lady not sure who you thought you knew or what you thought was going on but you left us high and dry

I am currently a resident at Highland Pines Rehab. I've been here for a little over three months. My experience here is very relaxing, and caring. The staff here shows their dedication to all of my concerns. The nursing staff is beyond outstanding. When I have questions, or need additional help on something, I know I can count on my admissions team. I personally would highly recommend this facility, especially if you want quality vs quantity.

I am doing this review to help people in the futere i brought my wife form a different rehab facility which i wasn't aware they are both ran by the same company and it shows.my wife has had several strokes and is on meds for high blood pressure, high cholesterol, blood thinners and is also diabetic on 3 shots of insulin a day. This facility has not had any of my wife's meds for over 30 hours her blood sugar levels are at 387 and they should be around 100.so please check out the facility before you put tour loved ones in there. I also want to say the nurses and cna"s are the rudest and laziest people

Had to move my mother out of here quick last night. Because the nursing staff weren't doing their job. And the management rather fight with a patient's family members. Then set their staff straight on caring for patients.
Stay away from this facility. It will save you alot of heartache and stress. Plus having the cops called on you too.
