DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT bring your loved one here. The staff will not treat your loved one with the respect they deserve. Short visits on weekends, even if it could be the last time you could see them because you live out of state. The things my father has told me they say and do to him that they don't think he'll remember are despicable. To top it off, the administrative staff is terrible, namely Renee Caron. Not pleasant to work with, at all. I will absolutely be working on getting my dad out of this place, as soon as possible.

Whatever you do, do not send a loved one here especially if they suffer from Dementia. They are not equipped or trained to deal with this horrific disease. They will accept your loved one and tell you everything can be handled. Yet as soon as
the typical behaviors common for Dementia patients surface they will Baker Act them. Then you are left dealing with a commitment to Largo Medical Behavioral Unit till your Insurance no longer pays. After that you are alone in trying to find a Facility that will take someone with a Baker Act on their record.

Was unsure of where to place mom but I am glad my sister and I chose this place. The visitation restrictions are by appointment only and you are required to wear a mask. At the hospital you can come and go to see mom in the room which we thought was the case here but they were nice and informed us that rehab facilities are not able to yet. I later found out from our family member that works in a facility that they must follow different state protocols then the hospitals. So far we are happy with the care and she is scheduled to go home soon.

My mom had to call me so I could call them to come to her room. They really don’t check on them much. They let her have soda and chocolate knowing she was a diabetic number one. When I called to check on my mom they didn’t have a clue to what was going on with her. The manager Mike is the rudest person I have ever meant!! When I went to say bye to my mom and try to give her a hug he banned me from coming back for 14 days when they had a patient outside with no mask on!! It’s going to be Mother’s Day wow how sad to treat people that way. Huge mistake to send your loved one there!! Also she

I moved my mom out after 10 days. Visitation rules are horrible and they kind of make them up as they go. Officially 3 days a week and 30 minutes per visit. And some days are booked.
They would not give me a tour of the facility sighting CDC guidelines which is false. And one staffer told us the Covid vaccinations were transferable per CDC guidelines which is also false. They seem to say per CDC guidelines a lot to make you think their policies are legitimate when they are really corporate policies.

I would give this facility 10 starts if I could. They took care of my mother in law. We were very cautious when we picked this place because we had no idea what to expect as we never had to put our parents in rehab. The tour we received was the reason we chose it. Walking in they didn’t treat us like we were bothering them like others we toured before Belleair. They treated us like mom was meant to be there. Mom wasn’t happy going anywhere but home but after two days she didn’t want to leave. The nursing staff and therapy were wonderful. Mom said they were always pleasant and made her feel

I want to say that I have had nothing but great experiences with this facility. I cannot day enough about their care and compassion that they show their residents. Their therapy was excellent and very attentive to the personal goals of their residents. I see how hard working their nurses are and give them so much credit for what they do everyday. Thank you to all at Belleair staff from dietary to housekeeping all the way to the administrator and director of nurses.
