Dr. Joe is originally from Kingsport, TN and graduated with a degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Dr. Joe attended dental school at The University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in Memphis, TN.
While in dental school, Dr. Joe received the Dr. Dubb and Dr. Petrovsky Scholarship Awards, American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology Award, and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry Certificate of Merit.

It is our mission to provide you and your family with affordable, high-quality orthodontic care that fits your budget. We offer FREE initial exams for patients, as well as NO CHARGE for X-rays before and during treatment. There is NO CHARGE for young patient monitoring appointments before treatment begins.
We start seeing children at twelve months of age, which is the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry's age recommendation for your child's first dental visit. Thank you so much for making this an easy experience for us. The staff is incredible and fully answered all my questions. Other than some hunger complaints, he was completely unphased by the whole procedure. I was definitely more nervous about him being sedated for the first time ever. Our family can't even tell his tooth is capped now! Keep up the great work and we will see you at our next checkup!

Man, how IMPRESSED I am of this place . My 7 month old baby boy fell and hit his tooth almost completely out and I was so nervous . They got me in RIGHT away with the best comforting customer service . The Dentist and nurses were great and I couldn’t be more pleased with this visit. I will definitely be going back .

We have been taking both of my kids to the Children's Dentistry when they were still at the old location. I would say for about 7 years. Due to COVID, we didn't schedule our kids for their 6 months in March of 2020. We found out that my daughter has cavities and called the office recently. I was told not very nicely that since my daughter has not been to the office in 2 years, she is no longer able to go back to the practice. This is no way to treat your long term customers. Dr. Jack and Dr. Joe are both very nice dentists but office staff are boarder line rude. Will not recommend. Bad customer

Always a wonderful experience. We are now on a second child who is terrified of the introduction to the dentist and teeth cleaning process. The first one is now totally comfortable thanks to the amazing staff! They are always so kind and patient even when my kids are terrified and trying to get off the table at all costs!

Children’s Dentistry of Murfreesboro is fantastic!! The building itself is welcoming to all children. We were seen in a timely manner and our hygienist was extraordinarily proficient at her job and very patient with my squirmy 5 year old. As always, Dr. Jack was kind, professional and informative. I am thankful to have such a wonderful place to take my child to the dentist! He looks forward to his next visit and so do I!
