Dr. Alex has achieved full board certification through the American Board of Orthodontics, the only orthodontic specialty board recognized by the American Dental Association and in affiliation with theAmerican Association of Orthodontists. Dr. Alex has voluntarily gone through hundreds of additional hours of preparation to demonstrate the judgment, skill, and knowledge required for providing the highest level of patient care.
For the majority of children, delaying treatment until all the adult teeth have come in is preferable (around age 12). However, Dr. Alex and the American Association of Orthodontists recommend an orthodontic evaluation beginning at age 7. This is the time when the adult bite can be determined and any tooth or jaw development issues can be identified.
As a young boy Dr. Stefan Alexandroni came to the United States as a refugee from communist Romania along with his parents and younger sister. The family first settled in Washington state but then moved to California where Dr. Alex completed high school, college, and his advanced education. From a young age, Dr. Alex developed a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Dr. Alex uses a premium quality metal bracket system to limit loose brackets and maximize comfort. Invisalign is a custom system that uses a series of clear, removable aligners that no one can tell you're wearing. There are no wires or brackets. Aligners are removable so you can eat more comfortably and brush/floss normally.

Dr. Alex and his team are the absolute best. They are thorough, accommodating, friendly, and truly care about their patients. Being a newbie to orthodontia, they walked me through everything with patience and understanding. Dr.Alex and his team are amazing . I would highly recommend them. They make each patient feel special and are always respectful and courteous.Their office is beautiful and very clean . Dr. Alex and his entire staff are amazing. We have been receiving treatment for a little over 4 years. There has never been a time that we did not enjoy our office visit. Dr. Alex and his staff are excellent at explaining what is happening and how the treatment is working. They are super friendly and take an interest in you as the patient and patient family. Each time we would visit, from the first appointment, they knew who we were. We never felt like just another person who is paying for service. I can not say enough about this amazing team.

I cannot say enough about Dr. Alex and his staff at Atlas Orthodontics. Everyone is so nice and professional. When you're a patient at Atlas, you're not just a chart or a number. You're a name. You're a story. In fact, Dr. Alex greeted us at the door during our last visit and asked each of us (myself, Landen, and my 2yr old daughter) how we were doing, by name. He wasn't looking at our file. He remembered. That goes a long way with me. He and his staff remembered things we had talked about during previous visits and would ask about how everything was going. I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Alex & his staff. Both of my teenage boys have braces. My oldest son didn’t think it would be possible for his teeth to be straightened out, because of how crooked they were. Dr. Alex was determined to find a way to help, especially seeing first hand how badly it was affecting him.
