When she isn't working or caring for her family, she enjoys outdoor activities and relaxing with friends. While at work, Dr. Matthies enjoys talking with and educating her clients and spending time with her patients.
To better serve you and your pets, we have established a positive working relationship with several veterinary specialists. Their specialties include but are not limited to: Internal Medicine, Advanced and Orthopedic Surgery, Neurology, Cardiology, Radiology, Ophthalmology, and Dentistry. We are proud to offer cardiology services from board certified veterinary cardiologist, John MacGregor, D.V.M., DACVIM-Cardiology.
Our appointment book is computerized which allows us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet. Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. Emergencies are accepted anytime our clinic is open. If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call us or come to the hospital immediately.
Distemper This vaccine protects your dog or cat from a variety of airborne respiratory and intestinal viruses. It is recommended for indoor and outdoor pets. The initial vaccine series typically starts at 6-8 weeks of age and is repeated every 3 to 4 weeks until your pet is 16 weeks old. Periodic boosters are recommended (details vary with breed, species, and age).

I hesitate to share this review because Drs. Praul are really a godsend and if too many people know how compassionate, skilled and service oriented they are, they'll be completely booked. We've known Drs Erika & Darryl for nearly 20 years, and recently we referred our friend whose beloved pooch was nearing the end and needed to be lovingly released from his earthly obligations. The extra care, time and comfort they extended added so much meaning and "ok'ness" to this sad day, and it will never be forgotten. Thank you.

I could have not chosen a better place to go to have my best friend layed to rest. Cuddles the cat. The lady that gave Cuddles the first shot was so kind and caring. After a few min or so the vet came in to do the final shot. And the vet as well was super kind and caring. I must say I give Windsor Veterinarian A+ a thousand times over. Thank you from the bottom of are hearts.

Best, most caring Vet Clinic! We have very nice house cats, but have acquired a few stray barn cats, which we feed and watch on a game camera. Slowly we have been catching them. Windsor Vet is awesome about treating them and even fit one of them in, last minute, due to a neck injury on the stray cat. They are caring and practical. They provide the needed treatment, medicine, and offer options, then let you decide.

I love this vet clinic. We've brought our three cats and six rabbits here for the past three years with nothing but top notch care at reasonable prices. The staff is super nice and the doctors, Erika and Darryl Praul, have always been pretty straight forward with us on treatments. We say 5-stars, Abby the cat says 5-paws and Dandelion the rabbit says 5-hops for the Windsor Vet Clinic!
