Community Eye Center Optometry's mission is to serve the health care needs of patients and to conduct exemplary business within the community. We will strive to provide the highest quality of professional care to patients starting with the initial patient contact and continuing through completion of the services provided.
As a licensed optician, Connie has been certified by the American Board of Opticianry for over 30 years. Before she joined Community Eye Center in 1997, she began her work experience in a nearby office for Dr. Benjamin Glaser until his retirement. Her day-to-day operations primarily include managing accounts, invoicing statements, billing insurance claims, and various other electronic tasks.
Proper eye care is important for people of all ages and regular eye exams are encouraged for everyone, but especially for those already using glasses or contact lenses. Your vision plays a vital role in your life each and every day, which is why it is so important to take the right steps for maintaining good eye health.
Dr. Hilary L. Hawthorne graduated from Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, OR where she received her doctorate of optometry degree in 1992. During her studies, she also completed an externship program at Naval Medical Center's Optometry Clinic in San Diego, CA. Since 2011, she has maintained her certification as a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry.

This is my first time here I called yesterday 10/7/2020 and asked for a appointment they said no need walk in 10/8/2020 at 8:30 I said ok great -So I get there the outside is horrible dirty but I still went ahead and walked in normal office - Filled out paper work very simple -New PT be ready to wait honestly it’s way better if you make a appointment-Walk in May wait up to 4 hours honestly- However staff was very nice and Doctor she explained everything very well -

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. I really appreciated the interactions and methods that Dr. Hawthorne had with finding the right prescription lenses for me. It was honestly the most enjoyable optometrist experience I’ve had. And I really appreciated the help picking new lenses. I informed the assistant that I liked variety, and that’s exactly what she brought to me. Overall, I had a great experience!

Im reporting this clinic because they are scams. They don't attend us good. Not good service. I had to take my son out of school for his eye test and they never attended us, and we waited for hours. And the doctor was their and there was only two patients and she never called us. And my son missed his test because of this appointment, because they never attended us quickly. They tell you to come at this time and they never call you. Its a waste of time. They all have bad attitudes. Please don't waste your time in this clinic. >:(
