I went to Cool Springs EyeCare originally expecting the whole thing to be a hassle, but boy was I wrong! The service here was wonderful, doctors were super nice and more than willing to answer all my questions, but what really took the cake was the exceptionally speedy and professional assistance I received from Alyson at the front desk, it was immaculate. Upon entering I received the warmest of "Welcome to Cool Springs EyeCare, how may I help you?" And boy lemme tell ya, she helped me, I knew nothin about what information I needed but she was more than willing to walk me through the process. While

It seems that the office is becoming just another doctors office, pushing patients in and out and not really taking time to get to know the patients and properly diagnose and treat. My husband switched to a new doctor, because they were making things worse instead of better, and I tired many times to get Cool Springs Eye Care to send over his records and they failed to do so before his first appointment, a week and a half after he filled out the release form and requested the transfer.

I really wish that I could recommend. The experience here is great, but unfortunately there is a big caveat.
They do not provide PD (pupillary distance) measurements as a part of your prescription. This makes it less feasible to take your prescription elsewhere to purchase eyeglasses. They want $25 for this simple measurement which should be included as a part of your eye exam. I really wish they would include this measurement for best customer experience rather than attempting to upsell you. The Sam's Club optical center and others provide this for free.

Very disappointed! Just changed eye doctor for my children. This is our first time and I unfortunately will have to change again. The eye exam and Dr.Jacobs was great! My daughter got new glasses and we were given a promise date, I called on that promise date and still no glasses. Called on the next promise date and still no glasses. After calling again and raising concern they called and the order had “fallen through the cracks” we finally received them over a month later. Happens! Review from an out of towner - needed contacts for the weekend because I forgot to pack mine, and they treated me like a had been a patient with them for 15 years. Every other place we called was not willing to work with us because we would need an eye exam first, and Cool Springs was just very thorough with my background. If I lived in the area I would definitely be a patient here!! Also, shoutout to Ariel who was incredibly helpful!

I've been going to this practice for many years, and before that Donelson Eye Care (same owners), And have always been very pleased with the professionalism, the friendliness, and that the staff answer all my questions no matter how many I have! They are really great at explaining my insurance coverage and helping me get the most for my money. Great selection of frames. Cool Springs EyeCare has lots of really unique and beautiful designer brands. I have recommended this place to many people and will continue to go there as long as they exist.

They were very accommodating with my schedule and allowed me to come back later to be fitted for my new readers. Dr. Jacob was very friendly and thorough with my eye exam. I was so impressed with the entire staff! I went with a lot of concerns about my eye and health in general and the front desk associate validated my concerns and the Dr calmed me down despite being super emotional and unsure of what was going on. She was one of the most attentive and kind doctors I’ve ever worked with! She also addressed my eye concern as a whole body issue - which I really appreciated. Highly highly recommend!

The overall experience was outstanding. My husband and I went on separate days due to scheduling and availability. His visit went splendidly and everyone one involved was amazing especially the guy that fitted him for his new frames. He was exceptional. My visit was an amazing journey as well! We love Dr. Aimee Jacobs! My two children and I have been seeing her for several years. She's so kind and patient with kids. I am at high risk for glaucoma & I love that she is watching my condition closely without pushing for surgeries that probably won't ever be necessary. The selection of glasses here are more expensive than other places but you always have the option to take your prescription somewhere else after your exam. You'll be in good hands with Dr. Jacobs!

I desperately needed new glasses but get so overwhelmed picking out a pair that looks good on me. A friend raved about Gina at Cool Springs Eye Care and I am SO happy I went to see her! She took her time with me and picked out what felt like 30 pair for me to try. She would immediately say those look great, or nope! We narrowed it down to 4 pair quickly and she took me to this cool screen set up where she took photos of me in each pair and displayed them side by side. In about 2 seconds I knew which pair was my match and was on my way. I usually hate this task but can honestly say I had a blast

The experience was weird. The person selling me the glasses said she was hungover because she went to neighbor's party the day before. When I was telling her that one pair of sunglasses I own leaves marks on my skin below my eyes she said it was because I have "no bridge". I told her that I have never heard that before and I don't have issues with my other glasses, she replied, "Your bridge is gone, girl". I didn't know nose bridges disappeared on you. HORRIBLE!!!!!If I could leave zero stars I would! I originally picked Cool Springs Eye Care based on their positive reviews 10 months ago. I got an eye exam and new glasses with new frames totaling over $450. I was sold on "top of the line" lens with blue lens coating and impact resistant lens. I've gone through 3 sets of lens now that have all cracked, without any impact to the frame (Acknowledged by Cool Springs Eye staff). About 1 month ago is when they replaced my frame and my lens again to "correct" the problem for a 3rd time. Well they have cracked again. When I called

Dr. Jeff Kegarise has been my eye doctor for the last decade and has always taken great care of me. He not only makes sure my vision is correct, but ensures that my eyes are healthy too.
However, what I like the most about Cool Springs Eye Care is that they all take the time to learn my name and treat me like family. I've had my eyes examined by several of the doctors at CSEC and have always had great service.
