Derby Ho Acupuncture

I’ve had several wonderful acupuncture treatments from Derby in Culver City. I am extremely grateful to have found this highly skilled practitioner. She is knowledgeable, open minded, attentive and very good at what she does. I have received much needed relief with overall well-being from stress, increased lung function, neck/shoulder tension release and my fascia couldn’t be happier. The space is lovely and the staff warm and friendly. Totally recommend!

Derby is absolutely wonderful. I have seen many acupuncturists across LA in the last decade and Derby is truly incredible, skilled, and caring. I came in for PCOS treatment and painful periods and after two months of treatments and herbs, I had my first pain-free period *ever*! My chronic shoulder pain had turned into more than, I-guess-I'll-have-to-live-with-it pain. I couldn't lift my arm. I won't go through the PT and surgery I've had - trust me, my poor shoulder has been through the mill. What is also relevant is that I wanted movement - I'm a pretty active person and when traveling comes back, I have to carry my luggage.

So honestly I was super skeptical about acupuncture, not really knowing any of the science behind it. I have been dealing with mid back pain for over a year, it hurt at a 6 or 7 most days. Kept me from sleeping well, tried everything. Bought a fancy adjustable bed, went to the dr etc. Got referred through my insurance to Derby, im 3 visits in an 3 weeks without any back pain...its gotta be magic

Derby is fantastic! She really pinpointed what we needed to work on and she checks in with me every time I come in to see how I've been improving with treatment. She makes sure I'm comfortable while treating me and makes sure if I'm in any pain, that I know it will be worth it! I've seen her 5 times now and have gone from having near constant pain in my knee to hardly even noticing it at all!

I have been going to Derby for 3 or 4 months now and I cannot say enough good things. I had never gotten acupuncture before and was a bit hesitant - it seems a little "woo woo" but I was willing to give it a shot. Happy to say it (somehow) works. Derby is not a one-size-fits-all practitioner. She will tailor her treatment specifically to you and how you're feeling at each appointment. Derby is AMAZING. Not only is she an amazing acupuncturist but also an amazing human being. Her acupuncture work is the best work I have had but she is also a great person to speak to. She really takes the time to understand where you need attention. I have been going through a lot the last few weeks and she has been one of the only few people to really help me through it all. If I could give zero stars, I would! Do not PATRONIZE this business. I scheduled an appointment and left a message. Two days later, my appointment was cancelled by Dr. Ho. I wasn't given an explanation nor a returned call. She doesn't answer the telephone- you must leave a message and wait for a return call that never occurs.

Derby is amazing! I've been seeing her since the beginning of the year and she's been able to help me with a variety of health issues. She knows her stuff and if you're honest about your lifestyle and condition, she's able to really help you. I'm glad to be moving towards the maintenance stage now. With her help, I'm physically feeling stronger and more well rested.

Derby is beyond competent. She is basically my first acupuncturist, and put me at ease immediately, with sessions getting better and better over the last few months. It's years that I suffer from a backache but I could handle it with ibuprofen... till recently when the pain was way too sharp.
