Our program is constantly updated and specifically designed to meet and exceed today's standards for preschool education.
Our teachers creatively use a "hands on approach" to learning. They effectively incorporate music, drama and art to enhance skills in science, reading readiness and math. Our exciting program is designed with a supervised "open time", with freedom to use computers, manipulative equipment, a beautiful outdoor playground and pretend areas.

The primary purpose of this school is to provide the community with an educational organization that meets the challenging developmental needs of preschool children.

Miss Barbara's Preschool provides a safe, exciting learning environment for children ages 2 1/2 to 5 years of age. Potty traing is not necessary.

My son went to this school two years in a row! I would recommend this school to anyone who asks! Hands down the most trust worthy school and teachers. They teach the kids so much and really are so hands on with the curriculum and up to date activities. My 5 year old is now graduated and ready to move on to kindergarten coming september! Thank you so miss barbaras preschool is all staff!

We cannot say enough good things about Miss Barbara’s preschool! Our son absolutely LOVED going to school everyday. He was always excited about every lesson especially watching the chicks hatch from eggs and the space lesson was 2 or his favorites. Miss Barbara’s has a way of bringing the lessons to life! His teachers were nothing short of spectacular, So patient, loving and caring. Thank you for giving our son an amazing 2 years!!

Miss Barbara’s is such an amazing school. The Teachers & School Director, are all so wonderful & dedicated. While attending Miss Barbara’s, I watched my daughter really blossom and was amazed at how much her level of confidence grew...which is a true testament to the entire staff at the school. Both of my children have gone through Miss Barbara’s Preschool. My 2nd daughter has Cystic Fibrosis and the school has been so kind to my daughter’s needs. I have been class mom for both of my children and can say first hand the reaction between the teachers and children is amazing. All of the teachers and Miss Judi run a beautiful, clean school.… My children both loved attending Miss Barbara’s and cried when school is over. My son attended preschool at Mrs. Barbara’s last year and as class mom I was lucky to be involved with my sons class. With that said I was there a lot and got to see hands on how wonderful not only the school is but also the teachers and director Miss Judy. They are all so personable, knowledgeable and most important made me feel comfortable leaving my first and only child in their care. The school has been around for over 40 years so that alone speaks measures to me. Highly recommend!

It has been many, many years since my grandson attended Miss Barbara"s Preschool. So many in fact that my grandson will be entering his senior year of college next Fall. The reason I write this review now is that by pure chance while browsing the WEB so many years after Joseph's graduation ceremony from Miss Barbara's I stumbled onto your WEBSITE. I'm not sure how many of your former students or their family's let you know where life has taken graduates after Miss Barbara's. I wanted you to know that Joseph will be graduating from Princeton University in 2019 and will also be a Captain of the Princeton

Both of my kids went here and they loved it. We really liked the personal attention the teachers gave to our kids and it doesn't have the corporate run feel. Miss Barbara's has the old school house feel that you don't experience today, and the level of teaching was top notch. We as a community should do whatever we can to keep hidden gems like Miss Barbara's around for our future generations.
