Services
Here at St. James Lutheran Preschool, we offer an intentional, carefully designed progression of early childhood preschool class offerings from ages 12 months - 5 Years. The progression is natural and developmentally appropriate, designed to optimize Kindergarten readiness while celebrating learning through play and honoring the magic of early childhood.
St. James Lutheran Preschool provides preschool classes for children ages 2, 3 and 4 year olds. We also host a delightful Mommy (or Daddy) & Me Program for children ages 12 - 23 months. Our programs look to meet the needs of each child individually, as well as creating an environment where all the children, collectively, are given the opportunity to succeed.

I don't know where to begin. From the moment that I walked into the school I was in love. Not only are the classrooms clean and bright but the experienced staff is warm and caring. My 3yr old looks forward to going to school and she has learned so much in these past 4 months. When I speak to the other parents and find out that this is their 2nd, 3rd, or 4th child in the program I can easily understand why. The "extras" that are brought in like yoga and music class are not things that I have seen offered in other neighborhood Nursery and Pre Schools. I actually loved the school so much that my family

Saint James Lutheran Preschool is a wonderful place. I started Mommy and Me classes this year with my two year old daughter and she likes it very much. I will be continuing Mommy and Me and have already signed her up for Tiny Tots!!! Mrs Fennel is awesome she does so many fun projects with the kids and is such a source of information for the mommies. The moms are very nice and I’m glad that I have a place that my daughter enjoys. Mrs. Johansson is always so pleasant and stops in to see us in class. My husband and I feel very comfortable having our daughter attend this school.

I have sent three of my children to the St. James Lutheran Pre school. The amount of love and compassion is only matched by their genuine care for their education and well being. I absolutely love all the teachers and aids. I feel lucky to have found a place that I feel safe and confidant in the care they give to my children.

We love this preschool! The staff are friendly and genuinely care about the kids. Our four year old son has been going since he’s two and he loves everything about school. We enjoy seeing what he is learning each week and are excited about the progress he has made with writing, reading, math, and his fine motor skills. Our daughter entered the Tiny Tots two year old program this year. She was having a lot of trouble with separation and was not allowing the staff to comfort her. St. James Lutheran Preschool is an AMAZING school!!! We have our third child currently in the 3 year old program. Our children were overly prepared for kindergarten. The environment is the perfect balance of academic and free play. Our elementary age children still ask to visit and love each and everyone that they came in contact with there . We HIGHLY recommend!!!

St James Lutheran Preschool is the best! My oldest, who is now in Kindergarten went there for 3 years. My 4 year old and 3 year old are currently enrolled. It is truly a close knit community school. Everyone at the school is wonderful. They are so kind and loving. My children love it there and get upset when the weekend comes and there is no school! I highly recommend!!!

My son and I attend the Mommy and Me program at St. James Lutheran Preschool, and we both love it! Each week has been a different theme, which keeps all of the children engaged. The teacher, Mrs. Fennell, is so imaginative and creates different activities, crafts, and experiences every session. She is so wonderful and warm with all of the children and facilitates helpful conversations among the parents. After looking at many preschools, we decided to go with the St James Lutheran. It was highly reccomended and I knew why right away. All of the staff, from administration to the teachers are so amazing! My daughter absolutley loves coming here. St James Lutheran Preschool is everything we were looking for and more. It is a true blessing to know that when I leave my daughter she is safe, she’s having fun while learning and she feels loved! Best decision hands down!!!!

This preschool is absolutely the Best! Our family was new to the area and when I visited this school to see if I should enroll my 2 yr old, I immediately felt so welcome and excited to send my daughter to such a friendly, kind, caring environment. My daughter has been there for 2 years and she can't wait to get to school in the morning.
