Lucky Loggers Restaurant
Lucky Loggers Family Restaurant & Catering has been in business since 1980. We offer quality food at quality prices with quick consistent friendly service. We do not substitute speed for quality. Owner on site has been with the restaurant since 1985 and has a combined service experience of 110 years with her top 3 employees.

We offer breakfast, lunch and dinner anytime of the day. We serve real turkey freshly cooked and sliced on premise, fresh haddock, fresh breaded tenders, fresh hand pressed USDA hamburg, very lean pastrami and known for our awesome omelets. Not to mention our fresh ground bottomless cup of coffee. We now serve beer, wine and spirits.
Services
Reina graduated from Thornton Academy in 1986. She started working for the restaurant in 1985 as a server at the age of 17. One year later she began working as the host and cashier seating every customer that came in and cashing them out when they left. Reina was the first and last person each customer saw.
In the early 1960's Joe Deering built the shopping plaza our restaurant sits on. The mall rests on the old drying yard of the Deering Lumber Co. sawmill. Deering owned the restaurant at that time and had named it "Wangan" after the lumber camp supply boat that followed the log drivers down river to feed the hungry loggers.
We do catering for any occasion: weddings, birthdays, holidays, anniversaries, showers, golfing events, retirements, graduations, class reunions, funerals, and meetings. We are an off-premise catering facility. We come to you. We are self-sufficient and rely only on ourselves. One or both of the owners is always on every job.

I would not recommend this place. "Baked" haddock served swimming in a pool of water. Smelled bad & tasted worse. Go to Shaws & buy a loaf of bread & jar of peanut butter. Worst place around so far.

Had lunch at Lucky Loggers. Fare was what I would describe as "meatloaf with mashed potatoes and gravy". Also features liver and onions, ground sirloin with gravey, macaroni and cheese as well as other traditional choices that are really.not healthy. Not much in the way of healthy choices. Servers work hard, but appeared to be under-staffed and stressed.

I have to eat gluten free food due to Celiac Disease. My waitress seemed annoyed. I asked if they use a separate toaster because they have gluten free bread. She said no . Last time I ate there a different waitress offered fruit instead because I couldn't eat the toast. This one was irritated and said then just don't get anything.

Lucky Loggers is the lowkey breakfast spot every town needs. It's quick, cheap, and no frills about what it is or what they do well. You will be leaving full after eating the generous portions they give you!

Lucky loggers catered our wedding this past weekend. Top to bottom, everything they did was perfect. The food was amazing, the service was incredible. I was extremely impressed and so very appreciative of all the hard work they put in to make our day special. I would recommend them for any catering needs you may have. Cannot thank them enough!

Best restaurant by far! Excellent service, great food and reasonable prices. Loved the atmosphere, true Maine! Can't say enough about this place. So glad I googled "breakfast places near by" and it popped up.

As with every place these days we had to give our name and a phone number. The difference here is they also took our temperature. Kudos to them for looking out for their employees and customers. Everyone was masked.
This is the kind of neighborhood diner I love. As we were signing in, the waitress called out an incoming customer by name, genuinely happy to see him. We were seated quickly, given coffee and water right away. I ordered the eggs Benedict with seasoned home fries and my husband had a bacon/onion omelet with wheat toast, hash browns, and corned beef hash on the side. I enjoyed my breakfast

We went to lucky loggers to eat and I the food wasn't anything I'd suggest a friend to go eat. some was very bland and some was so salty I couldn't even eat it. what really killed it though was finding hair in my food that I know wasn't mine because my hair is short and this hair was long! definitely a 1 star for me

Wish I could give one more star but 3 issues prevent me...First, even before restaurants got clobbered by covid, the prices here were a tad higher than they needed to be for these kind of basic mom & pop, varied-menu restaurants (the kind of restaurants I love). Second you could break a tooth on the overcooked bacon. And third you're better off ordering chips instead of fries to go with your sandwich because ever time I've gotten fries they are never really cooked, they're almost white. (I supposed you could mash 'em with your fork & ask for butter.)

Staff is great, the food however, not so great.

The breakfast is free for me, so I can't complain too much, but if it were my decision, I would go elsewhere.

$11 for 2 eggs, toast, and oj is a bit much.

They were able to accommodate 14 people Pretty quickly. I have to say, I had the best strawberry blends I think I have ever had. And I want to give a big shout out to Sheri who is our weight person. She was absolutely wonderful! I think I would go back just for her!

This is my favorite local breakfast place. The staff is so nice, and the food is so delicious and filling with a fresh Maine taste. The pricing is perfect for the quality and quantity of food, and the atmosphere is perfect for early breakfast to brunch. My personal favorite is the fresh blueberry pancakes with the home-fries.

This is exactly the sort of comfy, unpretentious diner that I crave going to. The menu was extensive (only beef was that they didn't offer biscuits n' gravy) and the prices were amazingly cheap. I got the Hamburger Club with fries and coleslaw for under $10 and it was one of the pricier items on the menu. Service was excellent and fast and friendly. There was even a stuffed beaver near the restrooms. C'mon, you know it's gonna be good when that's a factor. Awesome spot. My friend even said "I will eat here again before I die, that's a guarantee." What an

Basic American cuisine with no frills. Typical selection of food cooked well with good portions and reasonable prices.

Somewhat historic location was once an open field where wood was dried after floating down the river. Hence the name, mural and logging tools on display

This place is absolute trash. They don't seat you in any sort of order and their staff is beyond rude. They have a, "hurry up so I can go booze after work" mentality. Food is sub par, I mean-its breakfast items, you can't really screw it up. Unfriendly environment, I wouldn't recommend.

We wanted to go out to breakfast after moving our cars for plowing. We had never been here before, but we're pleasantly surprised. I had the Loggers Slam, my daughter had the Mini 2 2 2 Breakfast and my wife had hash browns and corned beef hash. We all thought the food was wonderful, the service was excellent and the price was reasonable. We will be back again for another breakfast excursion.

I'm a big fan of Lucky Loggers, I go about 3 times a month for brunch with family. Waitstaff is great and I like how you can now order adult beverages! Mimosas! My favorite meal is the eggs Benedict over corn beef hash on an English muffin but you have to ask for it and they'll make it for you.

This place was recommended to us

my wife and i went in for 2 quick, quiet, simple, small breakfast meals...the amount of food on the plates was simple...the quality of food was simple[nothing wrong with that]..... thought the bill would be simple, $9-12ish........Came to a $20 bill plus tip.... we left just as hungry as we went in.

Cups of coffee are small so 2 cups are equal to one

Sitting in the booths is tight and uncomfortable

When a couple of other patrons came in,although there were PLENTY OF OTHER SEATING in the place! to sit them down, the place was 90% empty....they sat them down right

Food is mediocre. Waitstaff was very friendly and our waitress was very quick to make sure our coffees were always full and that we had everything we needed.

Ambiance is kind of cool with a mural of some loggers and some old logging equipment on the walls.

I liked the chocolate chip pancakes, but the eggs and bacon were lacking.

Summary: Fast, cheap and ok food.

It's a good sized greasy diner like it should be. Not for touristy types that are looking for that "Maine" experience. It's been there since I can remember and the food tastes like I left it on the table from way back then.

I like Lucky Loggers. The food was all good, everything was cooked the way we wanted and the portions were decent. Our server (the check said he was "Ty 7") did a really good job and was always there to check on us and refill our coffee. The restaurant is clean and looks like it was remodeled in the last few years.

Where it came up just a little short: I didn't like the coffee at all, but that's surprisingly common for breakfast places in Biddeford/Saco. And the corned beef hash is better at the Palace Diner. That's it, so they're doing really well.
