Willow's Pizza has been serving the South Portland area for over 30 years and has become a staple to the locals. We are a family-owned and operated restaurant and as such we want everyone who walks through our doors to feel right at home! Our menu offers something for everyone and our separate dining areas are great for accommodating dinner with the kids or happy hour with your friends!
I love to get to know our customers so please stop in, say hello, and enjoy our delicious food. Bread choices: Sub roll, honey wheat, marble rye, white or wheat wrap and gluten free bulkie roll (priced as large). All hot grinders are dressed with our homemade spaghetti sauce, provolone cheese and roasted peppers.

Rude staff. Asked if they could give me a call when my take out pizza was ready so I wouldn’t have to hang around waiting —this being the middle of a pandemic. ‘We don’t do that’ says the doozie on the phone. Can I speak to the manager, sez I? ‘No,’ she sez and hangs up. Avoid this joint.

Waited 25 minutes and still didn't get our drinks. ( However the were refilling cokes in three minutes at another table)Couple that sat 5 minutes before us had drinks and food while we were still waiting on drinks. (One beer, one milk and one mixed drink.)Understaffed and terrible service. No excuse.

Quality has been dropping significantly over the past two months, usually I order for my staff, as well as myself. Multiple orders have come in that have just been unpleasant... From sandwiches swimming (not hyperbole) in mustard, overcooked chicken, and we had a soup that was too sour to eat as well. (Just a list of things, I'm getting from the staff right now)
Personally, I'm lactose intolerant so getting a sandwich with cheese on it when I specifically ask to not have it, is not okay.
They are in a convenient location, but its just not worth the constant trouble.

Decided to have a quick business lunch here the other day. Took myself and four others for some pizza and subs. I myself had the Margherita pizza and I was very satisfied. Seems to be that everyone enjoyed their food and service was decent. I would definitely consider this spot for a quick lunch again.

Pandemic life has been hard on every person and every buisness.
I have been here a few times in more recent years, after i moved back to town.
While the new location gives ample space, the restaurant food has gone way down hill. I ate in person at the bar pre lockdown. That pizza wasn't bad, but not nearly good as other local choices.
Last night's takeout was a full on failure tho.
Bites App: best we can figure, these are store bought from frozen. Form Kraft into triangles, bread and fry...same results. And please explain why they assume to add a fist sized container of RANCH of

We eat Willow's pizza at least once a week. In fact, the first time I went into the store to pick up an order, they knew my name from all my online orders via Yelp!
Willow's can always whip up an order in a jiffy. Our favorites are pepperoni and mushroom or sausage and pepper. There are no frills about this pizza, but that's what makes it so great. After living in SF for so long, I forgot how delicious a solid East Coast pizza can be!

Willows gets 2 stars... 1 for the pizza and 1 for the music. Other than that it's pretty awful. We started off with broccoli bites, I believe they got them from the frozen section in Hannaford. Absolutely inedible, we sent them back. I ordered a glass of Chardonnay and it was luke warm, yuck! The pineapple pizza was good but it's served on paper plates. Seriously? Spring for some real plates, please. I also like the atmosphere in the dining room section, however, I'm in no rush to go back.

I've been to Willows three times in the last three weeks, no specific reason other than different friends planning something, unknown to the others, LOL.
Willows offers GREAT entertainment regularly and the food and drinks are always good.
I will say, being gluten free, the options are slim. They do have a 12" gluten free pizza crust made locally, for a $3 upcharge. The pizzas have been very good! I loved the buffalo and another time I had the pesto. They do sometimes have GF rolls/buns or pasta.
They've made my drinks perfectly (custom created by me.)

I've been ordering take out pizza here for years and you can never go wrong with the fresh mushroom pizza. They don't deliver but you can get it delivered through GrubHub for $4. I finally made it into Willows on a Monday night for their Martini Monday. It was such a blast (from the past) with martini specials like Godiva and lemon drop.... and a band playing Frank Sinatra tunes and many more from the Rat Pack. They play every 3rd Monday. I'll definitely be back on April 15th.....

We come up here from Boston every February, school vacation. We always go to the Willow's at least one time The food is the best. The chicken parmesan dinner is the best, the bread is warm and buttered. Tonight the kids had pizza and chicken fingers and one had a meatball Parmesan hot grinder. They said all was great with the meals. The server was very nice she is pregnant and a very pleasant person. We wish her all the best with the new baby. Again the place and the food is the best come one come all.

I came into the bar on Friday and was ask what I wanted to drink. The have three tvs for sports but you would not think it is a sports bar
The place is rocking with good vibes and very attentive personal.
I have hade the pizza which I recommend and they have an outstanding bar menu.
Service can be a bit slow because they do takeout and bar and restaurant service out of one kitchen
But the wait is worth it for the food.
