Chef Victoria Currie-Girard comes to the Breakwater Inn and Spa in Kennebunkport with over a decade of experience. A classically French trained chef and a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu in Cambridge, MA in 2009, Victoria also spent time continuing her learning in French Restaurants.
Having enjoyed a robust career in upscale weddings on the North Shore of Massachusetts, and most recently at a prominent Piano Bar in Southern Maine, Victoria is excited to join the culinary community here in Kennebunkport!Victoria's food philosophy is centered around healing from within and the support of local farms.

3.5 stars. Lovely building. The dinner was pretty good but not to the standards of other excellent Kennebunkport restaurants.
The sunset was worth the price of dinner. Relaxing outside, sipping a warm after-dinner drink, the sun goes down over water in a magnificent show. Really enjoyed that experience.

This was a rough good experience. Our server, Bryce, was super pleasant and responsive but the food was no where near the quality of the price point. My halibut was tough and it was accompanied by a risotto that was both tasteless and the texture of paste. No discernible salt or pepper was used on anything I ate. The cocktail sauce was almost purely ketchup. On the plus side, my husband’s poke bowl was decent!

My family and I (party of 4) went to Striper during our Maine vacation. The food was fantastic but our server, Vlad really made our experience great! He was the most perfect server - he knew when to check on us and when to leave us alone. His personality was so great and he was so nice. He suggested dishes that we ended up ordering and he was spot-on. Hope to see you in 2022, Vlad!

Stephanie was exceptionally accommodating on our (My Wife and I) short notice dinner reservation request. She displayed her warm, smiling face that lifted our spirits after a long day of travel. We then were privileged to have Vladimir as our very attentive and exceptionally suited server. As far as our meal, exactly what we asked for, and beyond our expectations. Perfect!! The Atmosphere was great. Eating outside in the igloos was a nice touch. A little cold but they had Clean blankets for us to keep warm. The Burger was extraordinary and the Cheesecake was amazing. Definitely recommend the Pretzel. I would recommend giving this place a try when in Kennebunkport, Maine

My daughter had her wedding here on June 15, 2019. I could not have picked a better place!It was a fabulous event on Saturday !!Our family and friends thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful setting, delicious food and the great service that you and your team provided. We received glowing feedback from our guests and we couldn't be happier. The entire staff were prepared and knew exactly what they were doing. Classic New England feeling, upscale yet laidback eatery. A great outdoor dining view of the Kennebunk River inlet, the main waterway which runs into the downtown area. The food was a higher quality, farm to table-esq type fare. The lobster tacos were great! And the service was even better. My girlfriend got their pasta of the day, which happened to be vegetarian and delicious. All in all an amazing atmosphere/waterfront view along with exceptional food quality all for a reasonable price.
