This used to be a nice complex, now besides hiking prices $500-600 more when you renew they are also charging new fees on your monthly bill, outside gym doesn't have the right tool for you to work out plus the noise everyday for the new building is crazy we can only have some peace on Sunday, think twice before moving here

I've been living at Modera Skylar for 3 years and I'm super hooy with the stuff and the building itself: nice remodeled apartments and great amenities from the pool and bbq to the pool, nice gym, amazing hub, tide lockers... Etc. Location is a plus, I'm just 20 minutes from everywhere!

12/31/2021 - Update: I just wanted to add that the Modera Skylar Team continues to be top-notch! Their beautification project of the interior and exterior of the building was a great success!
The Team is very responsive to the requests and needs of the Residents. "Service with a smile" is their motto!
I love Modera's proximity to Wynwood and Downtown Miami.

I recently moved here July 1st. Since I moved here the elevator has been a huge inconvenience. I work at night and so does does my roommate we have had to hit the stairs multiple times at 2am. Eight times to be exact since we moved in. We live on the 20th floor so it is a huge deal. Last night my roommate got stuck in the elevator with the technician. The elevator was extremely rocky and hot. The technician could not get the elevator open so he tried to take the elevator back down to the first floor and had to force the doors open with his hands. After posting my last review I was contacted by the realtor on site at the Modera Skylar.
She was very helpful and made me feel like I was being heard about all the issues in the apartment. She did apologize and had the cleaning crew, maintenance men, and painters come back through the apartment. She also offered us a new oven to replace the dirty one.
She stated if she had another apartment available on a higher floor should of moved us so that we could have the view we wanted but unfortunately there was nothing available.
Our initial experience wasn't the best but as things got remedied

During move-in day when I was brought to my apartment at Modera Skyler Mill Creek we asked the leasing agent about the construction directly in front of our balcony. The property did not inform me about the construction prior to move in or when I was look for apartments. When I picked my apartment I asked the leasing agent multiple questions about the view and he guaranteed it would be where I wanted the apartment. He stated that Modera Skylar was adding a tower and the construction would be the duration of 1 year (my entire lease agreement). I asked the agent how high will the infrastructure be

This building is very petty , continuing to add on fees such as now charging hourly for what used to be free guest parking , makes it very expensive and inconvenient to have a guest over without worrying about them getting a big ticket ! Meanwhile there still is no security , packages are constantly being stolen , elevators always broken, the other morning it took 15 mins to get an elevator and when it came it was packed full- needless to say I was then late for work. The showers have very low water pressure and goes from freezing to scalding. With all these issues the last thing they should be

If I could leave 0 stars I would. This is the worst high rise building I have ever lived. There is NO SECURITY. They allow FEDEX, UPS, and USPS to leave packages anywhere in the mail room. I advised them this was a bad idea and they told me they had a camera in the mail room to be protected from robberies. After Today that my package was STOLEN, they let me know the cameras DO NOT RECORD. Which means the cameras are useless. I had my car broken into while parked in our gated garage and they did nothing about it. there is absolutely no safety or reassurance of anything! The elevators never work

I highly recommend this building. The mix of young professionals, grad students, and working families makes for a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The new management is a vast improvement over the previous owners who were lax with rules and not invested in keeping the property properly maintained. The new group seem genuinely interested in turning that around. The office staff are always very friendly and work quickly to resolve any issues that may arise. Maintenance is responsive and competent. This is one of the very few buildings in Miami that takes large breed dogs without having to

The location is perfect! Minutes away from Downtown, Wynwood, Brickell and Miami River. The Management are pretty cool too. Maria and Caitlin are very attentive and have always taken care of my work orders in a timely manner. I really like it here! I forgot to mention. They offer free guest parking! :)
