Paulson, DDS MS and his wonderful staff understand how important a straight, beautiful smile is.
We are especially interested in making all our patients feel right at home! We aim to provide energetic and fun-loving service to each patient, and we put your needs first to achieve efficient and comprehensive treatment. Our staff is trained and skilled, and each member of our team has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care.
Dr. Paulson is a preferred provider of Invisalign having completed hundreds of cases. Invisalign straightens your teeth without wires and brackets, using a series of clear, customized, removable appliances called aligners. It's virtually undetectable, which means hardly anyone will know that you're straightening your teeth.
Dr. Paulson received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in 2005 and his Master's degree in Orthodontics and Orofacial Orthopedics from Loma Linda University. He is also is a Diplomat with the American Board of Orthodontics. Dr. Paulson spends time at his church, volunteering in the children's ministry, going to Bible studies, and teaching throughout the community.
Dr. Paulson believes in the philosophy of functional esthetics that combines occlusal harmony with bioprogressive changes. Hello all, I took my 8 year old on 8/16/2021, for a consultation for braces.First, I gave them my insurance. I KNOW MY COVERAGE'S. Then the coordinator told me with out even checking the insurance information or coverage was (THAT WE HAD NO COVERAGE FOR ORTHODONTIST) she had only checked in the website. Even a person who had none to little experience on insurance knows that the coordinator need to call and verify the coverages. She didn't do that. We are dark people . We went in for an evaluation for my son. He already has braces and about a year left on his treatment. We moved cities and are shopping around for an orthodontist, getting evaluations and pricing from various orthodontists. Most have been right around $1k. Paulson quoted us $5K FOR LESS THAN A YEAR OF TREATMENT THAT IS NEEDED. Either they think we are stupid, or they want to get as much as they can can out of you, or they just don't want the business. Either ways it's dishonest to inflate your pricing based on how much you want to bilk your customer for, not what is needing to be done

After having a very negative experience at a different orthodontist in Redlands, I was facing the possibility of either: 1, having my braces on for several months longer than necessary or 2, having my braces removed by my original ortho and then finding someone else remove them elsewhere. Long story short, my original orthodontist was very unaccommodating and unwilling to help me. I'm moving in the beginning of January and told them 2-3 months before that that I would be leaving and unable to make my final appointment (since it was day I started my new job in Northern California). I will need to edit this review later in my treatment because today was only a consultation, but really impressed from my first impressions. Honest, competent, flexible, actively listened.
I messed up on my appointment time and they still made it work. The X-ray equipment was extremely nice and up to date, much less pain than the equipment I've had to bite down on in other offices. Friendly and accommodating woman took my photos and and got my dental history. Dr. Paulson was very thorough with the consultation and made sure I understood what was needed in my treatment. Dr. Paulson is excellent. My husband went for a consult in his office, and we were so impressed with him and his entire staff. His office is beautiful and his staff is welcoming when you arrive. They performed a series of scans, X-rays, and took detailed photographs of my husbands teeth. Dr. Paulson went through each of the photos in detail and listed out all of our options in a clear manner. Before he ever spoke about ortho care, he pointed out some issues that came up on the X-rays that our dentist neglected to mention to us, and reached out to our dentist to see where he was in my husbands restorative

I was a patient of Paulson Orthodontics from 2010 - 2013 when it used to be Heinrich Paulson Orthodontics. All the ladies and both doctors were kind and caring. I also felt that the management must have taken care of the employees well as I learned that many of the employees work there for long time. They have some monthly contest and seasonal decorations, even the employees dress up on days like Halloween to enlighten my day. I referred one of my adult coworkers to this place and she loves them too. I highly recommend this place to anyone (kids to adults) looking for orthodontics requirements

Dr. Paulson, is not only a phenomenal orthodontist but an incredible humanitarian. He has held events at his dental practice for the community and his generosity is unbelievable. He truly is one of the most down to earth doctors you will ever meet.
His newly renovated office is absolutely stellar! This is a great team of people! Dr. Paulson is the best, he's always so happy and greets you with a big smile. He's staff is super friendly and fun with all the different theme weeks they have. My niece and nephew had started treatment when their orthodontist closed. He trusted Dr Paulson so we took a chance, I drive over 20 minutes each way to the office and sooo it's worth it.

Dr. Paulson and the entire staff are spectacular! I have twin sons that are 13 and they had some pretty severe teeth issues. Not only did they get their teeth fixed but they completed it in only 22 months. This is a place where kids want to go! Everyone is professional and kind. The best part though is they like to have fun! My kids never gave me any trouble going to the orthodontist. The work they do at HP Ortho is the best you can find. I highly recommend them!

In lieu of plastic surgery before I turn 40, I chose to work on my smile. I've never made a better decision!!! I love my smile, and trust me, I was not an easy patient. I am both a tongue thruster and have damaged teeth from my childhood, but with care and precision, Dr. Paulson brought my smile back to life. 18 months of braces was well worth the end result of wanting to smile ALL the time. I had braces when I was in the 5th grade and back then, they said you could stop wearing your retainer after 2 years. Not surprisingly, my teeth have shifted a bit and are no longer perfectly straight.
Dr. Paulson and his friendly staff made a new bottom retainer for me and are shifting my teeth back into place. I'm looking forward to having nice, straight teeth again. And, the price was a lot less than I thought it would be.
The atmosphere in the office is really fun with a beach theme. The staff dress up from time to time and that really makes it fun for the patients (even the big ones). Also
