A while ago, I needed an optometrist. Close by. Dr G is located right there.
His practice is professional and personal. Never feel rushed, rarely a wait. The bummer, his kids are no longer little.
All this, and Anna and Mel keep the trains running smoothly.

Dr Gording is easily the best eye doctor that I have ever been to. My wife and I have been seeing him for the last several years and both think very highly of him and the entire office staff. I never feel rushed and he always takes time to make sure all of my questions are answered. I recently had an accident and was having trouble with my right eye. I called the office and they were able to see me in an emergency situation within 1 hour, even though they were booked solid that day. I really feel that Dr Gording cares about the patients that he is seeing and am lucky that I found him!

The staff were absolutely lovely and I definitely appreciated the cleaning and safety measures they've obviously taken to make sure staff and customers are safe. Dr. Gording was equally lovely and patient; I especially appreciated how he took the time to make sure that he gave me the best advice for my own needs instead of just suggesting the most popular brands. Honestly one of the best experiences I've had in the past 20 years of being a glasses/contacts wearer! I'll definitely be suggesting his office to all of my myopic friends!

Dr Gording is excellent! He is very patient and pays attention to details. He explains everything in layman's terms until the patient understands 100%. I definitely feel much more comfortable going to his boutique optometry practice than the popular, hip and fad Warby Parker shops due to his personal service.

I was referred to Dr. Gording by a very close friend. I normally go to a well known chain where they offer a wide selection of frames. Unfortunately the last time I was there they did not have frames that fit my narrow face and for that reason I asked my friend for a referral.
She told me that Dr. Gording's wife is fantastic at helping find just the right frame and fit. Dr. Gording is the best optometrist I have ever been to! He is incredibly knowledgeable and always takes a large amount of time to explain things to you. You can tell that he really enjoys what he does and loves to help people. I really feel like I am in the best hands with him. My wife also sees him for her contacts and thinks he is awesome too. This place is the bottom of the barrel, the equipment is ancient, the wife runs the front office and she is very miserable and disgusting, the selection of frames are terrible, they dont care about patient care as long as the movie money is coming in, she will overcharge you in a hot second and blame it on having 2 kids in college!

Refused to refill contact prescription in middle of pandemic.
Refused to approve it even when I requested a tele-session or promise of coming in when it is safe again. Refusal and retaliation are against CDC guidelines and I am soon out of contact lenses and will not be able to get new ones.
Lacks empathy, overcharges, and even tried to cheat me out of $55 as a "shipping fee" to release my records to me.
Go elsewhere.

I've been going to this office when it was Dr. Temkin's office (years and years!). Dr. Gording has continued with the excellent service and dedication to his patients' care. Not only does he take the time to make sure each prescription for lenses are perfect, but he checks for glaucoma, retinal scans for medical problems and photo of the eye for year to year comparisons.
So much can be observed about your health through an eye exam. I trust and respect Dr. Gording as much as I due my primary physician.
The office is clean, modern and the staff are personable and caring. He has an excellent website

I am not a patient of this doctor but one of another professional in the same building.
I am disgusted with the front desk staff (woman who worked the morning 10/9).
My daughter had an appointment with one of the professionals in the building. We were quite early to our appointment and we attempted to use the building bathroom that required a code for access.
The code that we were given was not working. As a parent, I (incorrectly) assumed that another adult in the building would extend compassion seeing a woman with a special needs child who clearly needed to use the restroom.

I have worn contacts everyday for 25+ years and have been coming to him for at least 10. He is hands down the best Optometrist I have ever used. I've even sent co-workers to him who love him just as much. He specializes is hard to fit lenses which is totally my eyeballs...he's got all these cool gadgets and really spends the time to get it right.
I have a very high prescription, and he usually stocks higher rx trials too which is great if you're like me and wait until the last minute to go in and you rip your last pair...that was already on its last leg and you can't see, and

I have been going to Doctor Gording for almost a decade now. My first experience was when I was walking by and had to use the restroom. I asked if I could use it and they gave me the key. About a month later I went to them to have my eyes checked. I had to repay their generosity!
I have had all of my checkups and replacement glasses made with Doctor Gording. He has always had a great attitude and has given me what I feel as an excellent prescription.
Prices may be higher for an eye exam but this is an independent practice that can't make up their margin by selling frames

I discovered Dr. Gording quite by accident. His office is a brief walk away from mine, so my initial reason for seeing him was proximity and convenience.
