Was in a bind and needed to get a new prescription ASAP. Insurance just kicked in and my regular Optometrist could not get me in for at least another month.
Kessler was open on a Saturday which was a need so I skeptically scheduled an appointment for the first Saturday they had open.
Everything started off normally until I got into the back for eye readings. Kessler did not have the necessary equipment for my astigmatism which was worrisome but then came Dr. Scott with a bit of genius, intuition and/or insane ability to think outside the box with all sorts of tools and to get me taken care of

I scheduled an appointment for an eye exam about a week ahead of time. When I showed up for my appointment, the nice receptionists got me checked in and led me to the examination room to wait for the doctor. About 10 minutes later, she came back to inform me that neither of the doctors showed up and that I would have to reschedule. Not her fault, but to say I was disappointed in the experience is in understatement.

I made an appointment to get a new RX for glasses since it had been 3 years since I last got glasses. The preliminary testing was fine but when the optometrist came in he immediately said I needed cataract surgery. I was shocked-I knew I had cataracts but was only having trouble with my glasses and needed a new RX. He couldn't have spent over 5 minutes with me and offered no options. I asked what if I didn't want the surgery and he told me I wouldn't be able to drive, watch TV or read. He immediately told the staff to make an appointment with a surgery center in Prairie Village

We came in with more than an hour and a half before their office closed. We came in with an emergency and needed to see am eye doctor as soon as possible. When we got to the front desk and told the receptionist what was going on she literally laughed, then said we've taken our last patient for the day, sorry. Are you kidding me?! One eye exam and you have an hour and a half till you close and your doctor cant see my husband to help flush his eye. Absolutely ridiculous. If you aren't going to take patients then change your time and remove your "walk ins welcome" sign at least 4 hours before you

I have been a patient of Kessler eye care for over 10 yrs. I can not speak highly enough about this practice. I have had the pleasure of receiving exams and eye care from all of the doctors there. Every time it was above and beyond my expectations. They are all very professional, knowledgeable and have a truly vested interest in their patients. I could see going anywhere else for my family's eye care.

I recently had to switch eye doctors due to having new insurance my old one didn’t take and I am SO happy with the switch. I have been to Kessler Eye Care on several occasions this year alone due to various issues with my eyes and have been amazed with the staff and service every time. Dr Scott is awesome , so kind and friendly. The ladies upfront are also very polite and professional. I have zero complaints and recommend them to everyone.

I have been going there for seven years. On my last visit, I had to fill out an updated form which was a waste of my time because they already had all the correct information. The doctor asked if I had seen them before. The receptionist were unaware with what my insurance covered which should have been checked before I showed up sinced they knew I was coming for over 6 months. The receptionist runs you through different eye tests but never tells you what they are for or how they went. Nor do you ever find out. Since the receptionist did NOT know how much my insurance would cover, she was going

I've been a several-year customer of Kessler eyecare, and so has my wife and two daughters. Although I've never had to wait very long when I do a "walk in" visit, most times we make an appointment, show up 10 minutes early to update our information, and we're seen promptly. This week, my daughter and I all had appointments and were all done within an hour, and I even had a contact lens fitting. The staff has always been friendly and professional and they're good about answering all our questions, and we've never had a billing problem with them. And I like the fact that I can get "fitted" for contacts
