Went in for a fill. I like the color but it's just really messy. I keep hoping the next time is better but I'm tired of paying the amount I do for a job like this. They didn't even brush off the residue from filling after it dried. Just felt rushed. Nail tech asked if i usually come there and I do, except for the previous fill and I don't think he liked that. Also to note: my sister spoke to my cousin in Spanish (because that's the primary language she speaks) and they hushed her and said to not speak Spanish. Idk just doesn't seem right .

Everyone in the shop is great and they all get along. I have been coming to this nail salon for over 15 years and I can't say I have ever been disappointed. Amy is my girl... she is so talented and always in a good mood. She knows exactly what I like and I respect her opinion on nail designs. The massage you get when you have a pedicure is to die for. It's a wonder I can walk afterward, I am so relaxed. The shop is clean and neat and bright. The entire team there will do their best to meet any and all your requests. This place was amazing. I brought my 95 year old Dad here for a Christmas present and they made him feel so special. They cleaned up his dirty nails and feet and made them look so good. He also had his bushy eyebrows trimmed here. He enjoyed this place so much. I had my nails and feet done too. They gave me a wonderful foot massage and I looked over at my Dad and he was enjoying his massage so much he fell asleep. I will bring him here every time I visit him.

I've been going to Award Nails for 15 years. Amy always does an amazing job with my nails but I also see Kristine for my pedicures and leave happy every time. I've since moved from the Mesa area but still make the hour drive bc once you find the right nail technician you don't go looking anywhere else!

Usually I don't leave reviews but I have to. Don't waste your time and your money here!!! It was my 1st time here and definitely gonna be my last. I had acrylic done and the guy that did my nails, made it so thick and it hurted me and he said that's how it is, but I always get acrylic done but not like that and I asked for just the white tip but it was thick that it looked like it was half of my whole nail. And I when I tell it's just he brushes it off. 2nd for my pedicure he seems he was in a hurry and didn't even take his time on the extra spa that I paid for. And i feel

I've been to this shop several times pre covid so this was my first back since early 2020. I came in on a Monday so it wasn't busy but I could see they were short staffed with only 3 technicians in house at the time of my arrival. I arrived around 11:30. I walked in and was not greeted or acknowledged. I stood a couple of minutes and then sat down because no one came to speak with me. I know one person (Kevin) saw me as we made eye contact several times.
After about 10 minutes, one of the other technicians came to the front and proceeded to watch videos on her phone and drink coffee

If I could give zero stars I would. First we called, asked if walk-ins were welcome. when we got there and they hadn't seen us yet while we were picking our color i was checking out their marble work on display & decided on that showed the ladies our picture and regardless of being accepted and ready, the ladies that walked in got helped right away.
then kevin came up to me and insisted i sit and get my toes by him, i also showed a picture of what i asked for and he said OKAY OKAY COME and sat me down rude, like aggressively. he said okay we're gonna add glitter instead of the gold

DONT WASTE YA TIME OR $$$. i went there couple days ago got there at 6:00. i called before i came and they said they can take in 2 right away. they weren't busy but there were people waiting. so my friend an i waited to pick our color, we waited for 45 MINUTES. We had to be at work at 8:30. i told them i was in a hurry and said nvm and they STRONGLY INSISTED they'll be done in 40 minutes. i said okay. they did my nails in 28 MINUTES. my fingers were SO SORE & yesterday i just realized they did something wrong on my right ring finger to where any pressure on it hits a nerve and hurts

Two because the place was clean and orderly. The guy tried to upsell me on the Pedicure I asked for. He tried to upsell me to gel which I did not want. He took repeated breaks for his phone. He gave a very lackadaisical massage which was mostly scrubbing the exfoliants up and down my shins until it kind of hurt. He didn't massage my calves or my feet. He clipped but did not file my toenails. Although I was unhappy with the massage and job on my toes I didn't try to hold him accountable because I just wanted to be done with it. The male watched me and said nothing
At 850 he unlocked door
I entered and he immediately said "do you have an appointment?"
I referenced the website and he said he had people already
No one was around
I'm African American
I left no problem
Took my $200 every month else where
I got to the shop at 830am

I'm pretty upset with this place, I've actually been here an few times for a pedi and once with a friend. They over charge my friend like crazy!
Then today I stopped in while waiting in my car for an oil change and received a pedi they did a good job but when I asked for just a file (like I always get) he states I had to cut them... then I was put under the drying and they forgot about me. They took multiple clients ahead of me and when I was approached she said she didn't know. I asked how much longer and I was told 6 more minutes.
This will be the last time I came here. Being

Okay I took my daughter who is 12 here after calling first. She had got her nails done elsewhere and were not done well she was rushed because she was young.
Fixed my daughters nails!
Wow Award Nails did such a great job. My daughter even shortened them so she can play the guitar. They tapered and fixed the crooked one from the last salon and took there time and thinned them. We only waited 10min before she sat down. I did have to get someone's attention and told them we called. They were great! Took her right back and she wasn't treated differently because she was young! She picked
