Services
Kedron Valley Veterinary Clinic (KVVC) was founded in 1978 by Dr. Lynn Murrell. A former electrical engineer, he graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Veterinary Medicine in 1976. Two years later, Dr. Murrell settled with his wife and two children, Blakeley & Cameron in South Woodstock, Vermont.
Dr. Blakeley Murrell-Liland followed her father into veterinary medicine, graduating from the Atlantic Veterinary College in Prince Edward Island, Canada in 2003. After an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Tufts School of Veterinary Medicine, she worked at the Dover Veterinary Hospital for two years.
Anne Marie Comeau joined the KVVC family as the manager of the Kedron Valley Boarding, Grooming & Daycare facility. After more than fifteen years in the hospitality business, she decided to transfer those skills to making our animal friends feel happy and comfortable. Anne Marie and her husband, Andy, live in Plymouth with wonderful cats, Goody Black and Kitty Cat.
After 30 years in South Woodstock, Kedron Valley Veterinary Clinic decided to expand and move to a larger and more accessible space. Built in the late 1800s, our current building began as a barn. Since then, the structure has gone through many, diverse incarnations, becoming a bicycle shop and a Curves studio, before its conversion into a modern veterinary clinic.
Vermont Spay Neuter Incentive Program (VSNIP) is a State-run program that provides spay and neuter services for low income pet owners. Kedron Valley Veterinary Clinic is a strong supporter of VSNIP, an important resource for pet owners in need. As a participating clinic, we provide low-cost spay and neuter services.

The first appointment went well and the doctor was very kind and thorough. It took over 2 months to be seen as a new patient, which seems unreasonable. (They said it’s the pandemic, but it seems to be VT in general, as I was able to see a vet in GA and my dog’s dermatology specialist in PA in a week’s time). I hope they will be able to get my dog in sooner if she’s sick.

I have worked mostly with Dr. Richard. She is very caring toward my dogs, their medical needs. She is very knowledgeable and has answers to all of my questions. I especially love the personalized attention that all of the staff give to my four dogs. Email follow ups and reminders are great! I also love the birthday greetings I get via email for each of my babies. I really feel that they care about all of them.

Awesome, professional care during a stressful incident. Our wonderful dog Bella did something she has not done since she was a puppy: she chewed and ate something that was not food...a huge rawhide glove that is used when we empty with our woodstove. When we realized what happened, we brought her to Kedron. We are new to the area but they treated her like she was a life-long client. Detailed x-rays, consultation, surgery, and 6 prescriptions followed. We were fully informed and give cost estimates every step of the way. Bella is on day 4 of her recovery and doing wonderfully. We received 2 follow

Having four large dogs, two of them elderly, the right vet care and clinic is important. Kedron Valley Veterinary Clinic is perfect for our pack. Especially during this time of social distancing, they have done a tremendous job of keeping us informed, and they are doing a great job handling all the changes. I recently brought in two of my dogs for routine care. The tech picked up and delivered each dog back to my car while I spoke to the dr on the phone. While I couldn't go into the clinic, they made me feel involved in the visit. They handled everything professionally, form appointment setting

When our kitty required emergency medical care, Kedron Valley staff were right there for her -- and for us. Just what we needed: quick, professional attention for her and supportive advice and help for us. Of course, she's also had great care there for routine appointments. We truly appreciate how kind and professional everyone is and couldn't recommend this clinic more highly.
