I brought my almost 10 year old broken external hard drive in after being told many years ago by 2 other data recovery companies that it could not be salvaged unless I wanted to pay upward of $1000. Horrible customer service, absolutely ridiculous he answered the phone and just tried to give me reasons why he couldn’t replace my screen asking what version because he didn’t have the newest, I needed a replacement for one he had in stock, then it was the “double sided tape” which also wasn’t an actual reason because I told him I knew what I was talking about, then he didn’t want to void my warranty, after I told him I’ve already upgraded my software before personally he just flat out said he didn’t want to do any work on my iMac screen, I love small business because I run one

If I could give this company 5 million stars I would. My modestly high end gaming laptop’s charging port broke, rendering my laptop completely useless. Every shop in the area said they couldn’t fix it. My favorite piece of technology was now the equivalent of a brick. Que BYOD, I brought my laptop in and a week or two later it is %100 fixed. Good as the day I got it! I want to thank BYOD for their exceptionally high quality service. I can’t recommend them enough if you have any computer issues, I know if I ever have another computer issue BYOD is my first and last stop!!! Thank you BYOD

BYOD very professional, good expertise, and people skills. I brought in my seagate 2 tb hdd when it was "chirping" and generally unresponsive and they walked my through what the possible problems and outcomes could be. In the end they were able to recover my most important files without damaging the data for further more extensive (and expensive!!) recovery efforts

The moment you step in their office the service is personalized and the tech guy is listening to your problem. They fixed my Porsche design hard drive which I've had since college and got all my old pictures and important files. Truly amazing service albeit a little bit pricier than I thought it would be. But I really don't mind paying extra as long as you can feel that you are being taken care of... Thanks BYOD for the great service!

The first thing that I learned after moving to a new town is to know where all the good local shops are... Good car mechanic, dry cleaners, locksmith, and lastly a good computer guy. I found mine in BYOD. Super responsive to emails and messages, very professional and clean. Not to mention that the service is top notch. I feel a little bit safer in this town after moving from NYC after I find local and small businesses like these. Thanks BYOD for fixing my mac and for not gouging an out of towner like me ! I was in great shock when I plugged in my G-Drive external drive and I could not access it from my macbook air! All my outsourced work was saved in that drive because my mac has very limited storage capacity. I was about to have a panic attack! I searched thoroughly for a place that could do the job and found BYOD! They were great! Explained the whole process and why it would take time and why it cost the way it would cost. I did not mind the cost because i literally have my entire life's work in that drive. Thank you BYOD ! Highly Recommended for sure!

My entire portfolio of photos was stored in my old hard drive from way back when I was majoring in Photography at USC. For some reason it just stopped working one day and clearly I was panicking. There were some beeping sounds when I start to plug it in my computer. I was having an anxiety attack and I started searching for a place that could fix this issue. These guys at BYOD did an unbelievable job in recovering and fixing my hard drive. My Lacie hard drive which i loved because of the cool orange bumper design went bonkers over the holidays and all my pictures from all of my travels were saved there. I just could not let go of them as they were very memorable for me and my family. I looked around and waited until the holiday rush passed and found BYOD which was reasonable close to my house in Larchmont. I talked to the tech person and they walked me through the whole process which included the time and price quote. It took quite a while to be honest

Very efficient service from this place! They fixed my iPhone X and recovered all my photos even if I dropped it in the pool during a crazy night out with friends. I thought that my phone would be fried but they fixed it so that I can at least get my photos from it. Luckily I also had insurance so I just sent it back so I got a new phone as a replacement. Those were two years worth of pictures that I never backed up. Lesson learned, move on! But thanks BYOD for teaching me a valuable lesson without the consequences!

My girlfriend got mad at me so badly that she threw my macbook pro from the 6th floor of my apartment building. I just glad that it didn't land on somebody's car or worse somebody's head! Now the bad part is that it looked like this! I was going to buy a new mac but the problem was that all of my photos and USC grad papers were on that machine. Luckily, I found a miracle worker in BYOD! Even in this bad condition, they were able to do a data recovery process and save all of my important documents!
