The WORST nail service I have ever received. My appointment was at 10 AM and they kept taking more customers despite having people already waiting and I didn't leave until 1 PM. All I got done was a full set which usually only takes 45 min but I was there for 3 hours . Adding to the extreme wait time and lack of communication, the job was SOOOOO poorly done. I was nicked multiple times and the acrylic nails are bumpy and so ugly and they charged 70 dollars for terrible service. The cherry on top is that my nails are already chipping and it's only been 1 day! Horrible!

BEAUTIFUL nails by nail tech Zen. I am totally in love with these nails. Their ability to replicate designs and what you request is spot on. The snowman wasn’t part of it, but she did it on the fly so well and detailed.
This took 2 hours and she handpainted everything. Service was great, provided tea or water.
Their attentiveness to detail is great, everytime I’m like my impatient anxious self sees something during the process she quickly catches it and I am really thoroughly impressed.
Will definitely come again for designs :)

So their online appointment thing doesn't actually work apparently because we showed up at 6:20 for our appointment and they had loads of people waiting in a teeny tiny space, and the wait was going to be at least half an hour. Not sure how the nails would have actually turned out, because after we heard someone else who had an appointment ask how much longer she'd have to wait (she'd already waited 30 minutes) we left. Walked into Union Nails down the street, they sat us immediately and were done super quick.

I love Tootsie Toes! I go to Jenny to get gel extension manicures + nail art. Jenny is super detailed and she gets the shape right every time. Also the gel lasts so long!! I'm not kind to my nails - I'm constantly washing my hands or rinsing something or bumping my nails into something because I'm a clutz, and my nails last a solid 2.5-3 weeks with no lifting and no broken nails. (Haven't tried waiting longer than 3 weeks for a fill)
I've gotten a pedi at Tootsie Toes and it was amazing! All the staff are so sweet and super detailed with their work.

After reading all the positive reviews I decided to check out this place myself and I think I've finally found my neighborhood nail salon!
The first time I came, my boyfriend came to the salon when I was wrapping up and waited for me to finish and they were kind enough to let him use the massage chair. Today and the last time I visited, they were able to book me for a same day appointment which was great. The past two times I brought in a reference for nail designs and Jenny was able to recreate them perfectly! She is very meticulous about her work and will redo a nail if it isn't

I've come to Jenny for manicure and pedicure since I moved to San Francisco 3 years ago. She understands the nail shape and design I asked for. Jenny also truly cares about client satisfaction and is passionate about providing great services. There were a few times where she stayed until 8/9pm to patiently complete all the details of the design I asked for.

Highly recommend this place!! If you are having a hard time looking for a nail tech who can do beautiful gel art Jenny is the one to look for!! This place is super cute and there massage chairs are really relaxing!! I have been here twice and have yet to be disappointed! The amount of care and patients Jenny posses is incredible! Definitely has to be be one of the best nail shops and nail techs in SF!!

Yes, I too got the squiggly nails. And I'm OBSESSED thanks to Jenny!
Jenny was amazing from start to finish. She was quick, neat, and highly skilled with her strokes --I'm talking hands of a surgeon. And the price was so reasonable! You'd be hard pressed to find a better deal. As for the polish selection, they have so many to choose from, including the luxe Essie line.
Oh, and when I swung by after hours to pick up my credit card, Jenny quickly fixed my friend's polish (accidentally smudged as soon as we left the salon earlier). We tried to pay her again but she refused

So I just want to update and let everyone know that after a full week of bartending at a very busy bar my nails still look absolutely amazing. Not a single chip or crack and usually by now at least one nail has popped off, but they're all still very securely attached. Absolutely in love with jenny's work :)
Jenny is literally SO AMAZING!! I've had some pretty poor experiences at other salons when it came to getting gel extensions, so I was hesitant to try them here but decided to go for it. Thank god I did!! Jenny was so nice and friendly and she is very meticulous about her work

My friend recommended me this place and I have to say Jenny is superb! She was super friendly and did an amazing job. When she heard I used my hands a lot for work, she told me it wasn't a problem and kept it perfectly neat with a simple yet elegant design. The gold tips were her idea to remind me I'm still a queen with a golden touch even if my rough hands end up hidden in dirt, clay and paint. "Gold always shine through." I can't wait for my next appointment as this is my to go place from now on~!

Tootsie Toes is without a doubt one of the best nail salons I have EVER been to. I’ve been coming here for several months can honestly say that I’ve never once received a mani or pedi I wasn’t in love with. Very small shop, never seen more than two employees working at once, and I love that. So attentive and genuinely friendly and they take their time to make sure they do their best.
One thing to note is they don’t offer polish matching - so you pick one color for your hands and a separate color for your feet. Not a dealbreaker but just something to know.

My favorite nail salon in the city - Jenny always takes the best care of your nails and is always both welcoming and accommodating.
I'm super appreciative of their COVID precautions: the plexiglass, sanitizing, and temperature checks. I always feel comfortable when there!
I highly recommend if you're looking around the city for a mani/pedi!
