They have poor management skills they have had plenty of CNAS walk out and still have their job there I walk outside for no more than 5mins and bam I lose my job they need to be retrained and everything else they also do not care about their residents they left a dead body in a room for hours on end while the other resident slept right in the next bed I wouldnt recommend sending anyone there or working there

Awful, awful, awful. This place used to be one of the best until I fractured my femur. OT and PT Chris and Andrew, were a great team, best in ABQ until their boss dropped me. When I returned to the facility I felted like treated like I was the devil's. awful, awful, awful

21-day rehab coming off a horrendous covid fiasco. Excellent experience. Staff were awesome. OT and PT team did fantastic work with me. LPN's and nurses were so much better than expectations. I never paid attention to the type of person attracted to care-giver roles. My appreciation for those who do soared. Can't believe there are that many folks who thrive in that environment. Even the daily cleaning staff were way better than I thought they could be. All around good work from people cared. I was mobile and able to communicate so that probably made a difference compared to those with limitations

Unfortunately this pandemic was not handled well by this facility and we spent hours waiting for someone to even answer the phone on some occasions. We drove an hour to get there to see our grandparent and they were, unbeknownst to us, moved from the regular room but we couldn't get anyone on the phone in that wing to find out where. So frustrating. And then the PT was stopped due to insurance and no one was informed of this so they sat for weeks or maybe months without anything!! Don't trust your family here unless some huge changes are made.

My grandfather has been at this facility for his COPD.
The PT and RN 02/03/2020 did not connect his oxygen after physical therapy. It wasn't until my mother went to visit, when she noticed he was breathing irregularly. My grandfather stated that he had come back from PT and that may be why he was struggling. His oxygen was TURNED OFF! This was the 2nd incident that his oxygen tank was turned off. The nurse ( I will provide name later) stated that " It was okay" my mother told her NO it wasn't okay.
To top it off, my grandfather put his hearing aid to charge last night. He woke up this morning

My mother in-law was there only for a couple of days this week. Everyone seemed very attentive to her needs and care. No one hesitated to call us to keep us informed of her condition throughout her stay. When she started to get worse and they couldn’t get ahold of her personal doctor or he brushed off her pain as needing more pain pills, her nurse at The Rio called us and told us. She was sent to the ER. It turns out she has covid. I honestly feel they did an amazing job and helped save her life. While my father-in-law was alive he had to stay at other facilities that were horrible. I pray that

My mother Mary Esther Ulivarri was placed in this facility after being released from the hospital. I am so very thankful to everyone that worked with her, everyone at this facility was extremely kind and went out of their way to take such good care of her. The therapists are extraordinary and helped her so much, the nurses and cna's were very attentive and kind to her, they were exceptional. The cleaning lady was so precious to my mom and all our family, she would take the time to stop in and tell mom hi and give her the sweetest hello. Everyone worked so hard to help my mom get better and I thank

My experience here has been very positive. The staff is wonderful. I have seen them go above and beyond to help anyone & everyone they come across. ENTIRE staff on the physical therapy side are all AMAZING!
They encourage patients with strategic goals, constantly striving to improve the health of the patients. 1 thing I felt took away from the patients was the staff has to help in the dinning area, this takes them away from so many other duties they have. overall very happy here.

It is a wonderful place to be. I was there for a little over three weeks. The staff was amazing. I felt like the Queen that I am. The Jack and Gilbert were just a joy to work with. Maria and the other Nursing Assistance were very patient with me and such a joy. If you treat people they way you want to be treated, then you will receive the great things. Thank you all for everything you did to help me get back to living again.
