Spayed Club Clinic
Skilled, compassionate, considerate. The Spayed Club staff believes that all animals are worthy of the highest-quality medical care and respectful handling - from the owned purebred dog or cat down to the homeless feral/community cat.

Dr. Alexander came to TSC with incredibly valuable experience as she was a spay/neuter veterinarian with the Humane Alliance Clinic of Asheville, NC, which established the protocol for high-quality, high-volume/low-cost spay/neuter.Dr. Cynthia Balzer is one of TSC's Primary Care Clinic veterinarians.
Services
As caring owners, you want the very best for your pet. That's why we encourage you to schedule regular Primary Care check-ups. By seeking to prevent problems before they arise, you're ensuring your pet extended health and happiness. Spay/neuter is THE answer to the over-population problem and resulting euthanasia of cats and dogs simply because there aren't enough homes.
We offer affordable services and welcome pets needing wellness visits, vaccinations, blood tests, minor injuries as well as treatments for skin, ears and eyes, urination problems, and respiratory issues. We have bundled the recommended wellness services into our Vet's Choice Packages for your convenience - see below.
For those who cannot afford The Spayed Club Veterinary Clinic's low-cost services, we offer SPAY/NEUTER and MEDICAL assistance to those who qualify. If your household (NOT individual) yearly income is $35,000 or less, you may qualify. If your income is too high, we do make allowances for special circumstances (for example, if you are trapping a feral cat colony).
Each year approximately three to four million homeless and abandoned pets are euthanized in the United States. Included in that number are thousands of dogs and cats put to death in shelters in the Greater Philadelphia area. The Spayed Club Veterinary Clinic is a non-profit organization committed to solving dog and cat overpopulation and providing low-cost vet care to animals in the Philadelphia area and beyond.
Sign up with Amazon Smile and a percentage of every eligible purchase will be donated to TSC. We also have an Amazon wish list of needed items that you can send right to the clinic! For every dollar you spend, Redner's contributes 1% to The Spayed Club - at no additional cost to you! To participate: Go to the customer service desk and ask for a "Save-A-Tape" card -- it's free!

Great organization! They helped me with getting my cat everything she needs. vacations, deworming medicine. Nails clipped, and fixed, all for free. Very happy satisfied. If I had the means I'd donate a good substantial amount of money. But I'm terribly terribly flat broke. No income past 16 months

It was a Beautiful Visit for My Puppy, and I. This was my first visit, and I was recommended to them from Paws 2900 Grays Ferry location in Philadelphia. My Puppy Bear stayed overnight. I called to check on him, and everything was okay from what I was told when I called. Everyone was very Professional at all times. The Customer Service was great. I will be making the Spayed Club my puppy's primary doctor. "Everything was Excellent"!💯💯💯

I arrived and was seen within 15 minutes and was out the door in 10. The next morning is pick up, and again I waited about 10 minutes before my kitten was returned to me. The staff is very professional and friendly, not to mention great with the pets. I will be definitely returning for my kitten's future care.

They were so friendly and took care of our kitten when she was spayed. They also checked and found out she had tapeworms and treated her for that. They are so close, this is going to be our new vet. I really like the Spayed Club and I can definitely recommend them.

I was so nervous about getting my little baby neutered here but based on reviews I decided to go for it. It was such a reasonable price & I got inexpensive microchipping done. My concerns were for nothing. Everyone was so courteous & cared about my questions. The appointment process was easy & went without a hitch. Don't let the outside of the facility fool you because it looks like a warehouse. The service was exceptional.

The Spayed Club is literally the best veterinarian office in the entire world. I have been to so many vets in the surrounding area and I have never been treated with as much compassion, understanding, respect and kindness as I have here. They care about my fur babies and even my well-being and I truly can not express enough how grateful I am to them. Go here. You won’t regret it!!

I was recommended to this clinic from the rescue I adopted my puppy from. (Wet nose rescue). The price was incredible compared to my regular vet, they were professional from the get go. The ease of booking online was nice. I was greeted by a receptionist that was polite and friendly. She explained the process and gave me instructions. Someone came to get my puppy eve while I filled out paperwork. I did a few add ons like nail clipping and microchipping. My puppy's incision was clean and dry and she is healing nicely.
I would highly recommend the spayed club for your puppies

Donna the clinic manager is a wonderful, kind, and loving person to the animals. She also didn't know me when I needed help with my colony and someone gave me her number and she showed true concern and compassion for my cats and my situation. She runs a wonderful clinic over at the spayed club and the vet is awesome too. I highly recommend!

Took both my male and female dogs here to fixed. I called and was given an appointment within a few days. Brought my dogs in on a Thursday morning at 8:00 AM, said goodbye to my pups (do it outside, before you go in) , filled out a single sheet of paperwork for each, paid the EXTREMELY responsible fee ($110.00 each based on weight) and was on my way 15 minutes later. The staff was friendly and professional, and the facility was squeaky clean. The next morning picked my dogs up and they are both doing great. Make sure you have your dogs shot record (if they've had shots), and it's a good

My German Shepherd is like my child and I don't trust her in the hands of most people. But after a few weeks of my own asking around and a little research I found that the Spayed Club would work best for me and my dog. Drop off in the morning, pick her up the next morning which for me was fine. I don't wanna see my dog all doped up from the anesthesia a few hours after surgery. I got her back the next morning and she was fine. All of the staff there were very kind and willing to answer any questions I had. Very thankful they took good care of my little Jasmine!!!

My low rating results from health and quality concerns for my pet in addition to poor customer service when speaking to an associate about said health issue.

I took my year old lab mix to The Spayed Club Clinic to be neutered on 12-Mar-2015. Family members had taken previous pets there approximately a year prior with no issues therefore upon their recommendation I was happy to bring my pet to this facility.

When I dropped him off for the overnight procedure he was taken from me immediately in an effort to keep multiple pets out of the waiting room at one time. I was not given the opportunity

I had my cat neutered here about 2 years ago. They did an excellent job as far as I could tell. He didn't seem to be bothered the following day and 2 years later he's an adorable healthy cat. The recovery cam wasn't working when I took him but I don't think I would have wanted to see that anyway.

They included all the necessary shots needed in the cost which was nice. The place doesn't look great but looks can be deceiving.

The 4 stars are only for the services and procedure. The staff you deal with I would give a single star but that's not what you are going there

Don't worry about the condition of the office. This place is a non profit. If you want fluorescent lighting go to pet smart and pay $450 (that's the actual quote they gave me). You won't be blown away by the condition of the office but that mattered little to me. All I wanted was to have my best friends balls removed safely. I felt weird typing that.

Anyway - everyone here was super nice and trust worthy. After dropping him off I could hear everyone in the back making a big fuss over him - which I'm sure he loved.

I was really nervous about getting my 90-lbs., male boxer fixed. I first went to my vet to get it done because they're great and I really trust them, but it was going to cost upwards of $700 which I simply refused to pay.

I contacted the Montgomery County SPCA to see if I could get the surgery done for him there, but they do not perform spays or neuters on pets, just strays that come in. However, they did refer me to a few clinics and one of them was the Spayed Club. The website immediately made me feel better about taking my four-legged baby there. I made the appointment via email and they

Okay, so I just got my little kitty, Winky, spayed here. I'm a first-time cat owner, so I am new to the game, but this is my review of the Spayed Club.

It was definitely the cheapest place around me to have her spayed and kept over night. Everyone told me it is much better if they can be kept over night after the surgery. The process went fairly smoothly from making the appointment to picking her up afterwards.

I don't know if it is just me, but the place definitely did not look as clean in person as it does in the pictures, and it smelled awful, but i guess that is normal?
