Today is Hairball Awareness Day. An issue known to every cat owner, some simple tips to reduce the number of hairballs your cat produces are to regularly groom and bush your cat, utilize a hairball prevention food or see us for some hairball lubricants to help your pet pass it's troublesome tresses.

I absolutely LOVE this practice. Dr. Derek has been our family Vet for a LONG time. He's a great Veterinarian who truly loves animals and understands his patients are family to their humans. The staff is equally amazing, sweet, professional, and always giving my fur babies love and affection. They're also wonderful and kind if you have to say goodbye to a much loved fur baby. I know this from personal experience, they're ready with tissues, hugs, loads of compassion and empathy. They give you time to sit with your baby as you say goodbye and after, time to be able to let go and gather your strength

Everyone there was incredibly kind and helpful. I brought my cat in for a checkup. They aren't letting people inside right now but the vet offered to open the window so I could still see my cat and they walked me through the whole process and everything they were doing. Wonderful experience for me and my fur baby ❤️

Very good place a wonderful doctor a wonderful assistant and I think he cares about animals he does a good job the animals don't seem to be in pain this doctor learn from experience and by God we're missing experience in all medical staff whether it's for animals or four people and his bedside manner is very good he's very down-to-earth. Very plainly spoken. But sometimes the place smells a little stinky.

Dr Wineburgh has provided such great care to my black lab over the past few years. He puts in a lot of effort to alleviate pet anxiety in the waiting area and rooms, and offers pets a lot of love and attention to help them feel comfortable. He goes above and beyond to research options and medications so us parents can make informed decisions about our fur babies. I always trust his input when caring for my girl, Luna. The entire staff of Lansdowne Vet Hospital are always welcoming and helpful!
