Nails were ok but tried to get them removed and i found out mma was used. my nails are pretty damaged and im very disappointed :/

I had the ultimate pedi today and it was truly The Ultimate! Thank you Jordan for taking my cracked dry heels and making them soft and moisturized. Best pedi ever! Then my mani is so pretty!

This place is total trash! I went in due to my regular nail tech not being available (who works at a legitimate salon), not a chop shop such as this so called "beauty salon". In the last two years I have come in a few times for services when my nail tech is on vacation or what not, and never had any issues. The quality of work was decent, but still overpriced for techs who have no talent.

I went to Nirvana to get my hard gel removed today. I really appreciated them fitting me in last minute!

The nail tech was very gentle with my nail removal which I really appreciated. There were a few spots where he took off a little too much but it wasn't a huge deal. They quoted me $10 but they charged me $15- again not a huge deal.

It's a really nice building with beautiful decor but the instant I walked in I was overwhelmed with an insanely strong chemical smell. It gave me a pretty bad headache. It would be awesome if they got a better air filtration system!

Tammy is the best nail technician. I bring my five year old with me and they always accommodate her request for last minute mani and pedi. Beautiful color selection. Staff is very friendly. Clean and bright with all the windows. Always a good experience.

I don't know where to start. Service is horrible. First time I went for a pedi and she didn't do anything- just filed, painted and lotion on my feet for 60 bucks. Was not happy about that!! So I decided to give them another try. My husband and I came in for some treatments. He got a a mani and pedi and I got a full set of acrylic nails.
My nail tech was a lil too fast, didn't shape my nails the way I wanted them to be and the nails were not painted correctly. There was gel polish around the edges, wasn't cleaned up at all. My nails looked horrible. I wish I would have taken

I had came here once before and thought I would try it again. This time was not great. My nails are crooked and the acrylic was not laid down even, very bumpy. My two hands are different lengths and the shaping on my left is not very good. Some are round and some are pointy. I asked for almond shape and French. They didn't have the color I selected from the book and she didn't even ask if the substitute was okay before applying to my nails. There is acrylic stuck to my skin and paint on my skin as well. The lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful however.

Clean and people are very nice. Nails look great. Underwhelmed with my pedicure. Didn’t feel like there was much of a massage or mud mask. Felt like my feet left more dry then when i got there. Felt like we were rushed. Edit- my daughter took a shower hours later and her nails already have color coming off

Andy/Tammi/Vincent are the best! They are so fun to chat with and my nails (and the nails of all my family members are flawless). I am sad to see som many poor reviews, I think the key is to make an appointment and request your tech!

As a first timer I am highly satisfied with what I requested. I got Jordan and she was very bright, respectful, and communicative! She did amazing on my nails

Found this gem while staying at the newly renovated Kramer Boutique Hotel. First off the exterior and interior design is on point. Very beautiful and well manicured design done with a modern contemporary feel. The clientele invites all genders and it was a pleasant surprise to see couples. My fiancé first time is super important to me and he said he enjoyed his first mani & pedi.

During the pandemic I've decided to do my own nails..... 1. Because everything was shutdown and 2. I'm new to Reno.
Oh how I missed going to a nail salon. Two of my friends recommended nirvana and I am so grateful!! Coming from the Bay Area my expectations were pretty high for the quality of dip nails. This nail salon is excellent, if you get the talented nail tech.
Super excited to have found a great nail tech with skills. This is extremely important with dip nails, if they don't know how to do your nails right it can crack or chip in the matter of 2 weeks which is a total waste

This used to be my favorite salon in Reno but unfortunately I've been extremely disappointed the last 2 visits.
I went in on Monday and got gel polish. The girl that did my nails was rough with cuticles and I was bleeding, didn't buff the nails and went straight for the polish. I tipped her anyways and left. The next day I had 4 nails break and chip. They were nice enough to redo it the next day. I tipped again and left happy. (Spent close to $60 at this point)
2 days later, they started chipping and peeling again.
Definitely don't plan on coming back again.

I have gone to Nirvana before and had a great experience but after my recent appointment I will never go back.

I scheduled an appointment for a manicure and pedicure with regular polish. They were about 20 minutes behind when I showed up for my evening appointment and I was fine waiting. When I got in the chair my manicurist convinced me to go with gel polish because they were closing soon and it would take too long to dry.

I ended up with the worst manicure and pedicure I've ever had and felt like it was my fault they were staying late. The gel polish was applied thick and uneven. It

The first appointment was great but the following ones I was disappointed but kept trying. My nails cracked and the gel polish lifted. They were uneven in length and the shape was not consistent. The service was helpful and they were responsive when I made appointments. It is a clean atmosphere just think my following appointments were rushed by the technicians.

I was recommended this place and unfortunately came at rush hour. The receptionist marked me as a no show and I was given someone else's appointment. My Pedicure was $45 and manicure was $30 and my total came out to $93. I felt over charged and will not be returning 😒.

Nail tech Kihm is great. My friends have recommended I get my nails done by him for months. Finally, I make an appointment and it is confirmed over the phone. I show up twenty minutes before, only to get greeted by possibly the rudest girl I have ever encountered in costumer service. Not a hello, welcome in, how are you, nothing. A simple “do you have an appointment.” I proceed to tell her my name, the time I booked it for and who with. She then tells me I am not in the system and that whoever answered the phone must have not put me in. I drove all the way from Carson City for her to look at

I am definitely bummed, the salon itself is so cute but my nails completely peeled only 4 days after. I have never had gel chip or peel this soon after a manicure. Would not recommend.

Came in for a regular manicure and pedicure. I had dip nail polish on and the lady did not know how to take it off. Overall, it was a very terrible manicure and pedicure. The worst one I have ever had. I came in thinking this was a luxury salon with luxury service. It is the exact opposite. Do not come here and waste your time. Here are pics of the manicure.

Wow! Tommy did an AMAZING job! I loved how sassy he was! Didn't cut me even a little. Did a little gold flaking that's sure to "get me some compliments". Super clean shop with an amazing view. Make sure to call ahead for an appointment cause this place is busy, deservingly so!

First impression of the salon is that it's beautiful, trendy but pretty tight with the amount of employees and customers.
We had an appt at 11am - we were seated right away. I chose to do polish instead of gel bc I noticed gel didn't last long on their nails either. Why spend the extra $? Something about kids nails - polish or gel it doesn't last long. This I ended up regretting big time.

I honestly don't really know how to feel or what to say, I followed my technician here from another salon, I really thought she did great work. I noticed that I was being charged for what seemed like every little thing and my last fill cost me 55$ which seemed really pricey even for the shiny effect on my nails and one accent nail. Most nail salons are 35-45$ and I guess it's a thing that people are starting to charge for every little jewel you put on... when I can buy 105 pieces of Swarovski crystals for 9.99$ I wonder if I can start bringing my own to cut down on cost?! This place is near Jelly Donut (in back of) in Midtown. It's a great location with wonderful safety/health precautions. Service is good and staff seem to like each other. Parking may be a situation. Park on Wells or Virginia.
Come for nails, wax and other services. I did a pedicure. They ask you to purchase a manicure kit for yourself $3 and it's for your upcoming visits too. Better than most nail salons I've been to. Made me feel like a fairy princess I'm not saying I don't like them but they could have been cleaned up just a little bit on the underside of the nail.
